Why I need extra kernel modules to be able to run Wayland on nvidia?

If i run X.org i dont need to modify my kernel or its configs, it just works well (well, well for X.org) out of box. With wayland its the other story. I need to enable nvidia-dkms module and much other stuff to should be configured. There is a whole page about enabling hyprland on nvidia....

first one is an enameled cast iron pot that my folks got decades ago, one of their folks had it - it’s a really ugly 1960s orangish sort of red/brown. it’s super old, but I’ve only had it for 5 or 6 years. damn thing is so ugly it just keeps getting passed down to whomever likes to cook.

2nd one is my can opener - got it in 1998, it’s built like a tank. actually used to it hammer tent pegs into rocky soil when camping once.

After repeated data breaches that no company really seems to give a s— about my phone is blowing up with literally hundreds of spam calls and texts month. I get and make MAAAAYBE 2 or 3 important calls per month, 180-200 of the rest are literally all spam. Anyone have any suggestions, apps ect that they have found refuge with?...

i dont vote. somewhere along the line some dumbass thought it would be a really good idea to pull jury nominees from the voter pool. jury duty is a complete waste of my time, it pays absolute dogshit, and I’ve never really had much trust in the justice system to begin with - so I am not registered to vote in the state I live in. the week before I plan on leaving for greener pastures, I will register to vote.
