AceFuzzLord,

That situation is fucked and I’m definitely siding with Gary. He deserves so much better. Fuck Sintendo

AceFuzzLord,

I don’t recall the earliest memories or stories, but I remember at my elementary school, large snow banks would pile up on the playground area and made for amazing things to play on in the winter. They weren’t uniform either, making them fun for kids to climb all over since some of it would freeze solid while other parts wouldn’t. They were kinda like a seasonal jungle gym of their own.

That, and at the middle school near where I lived, we’d always go there for sledding because there was a hill in the very back corner of the place that was perfect for it. One night while sledding my dad decided to go down the hill on our old toboggan with our husky-malmute rescue and she absolutely did not like it one bit.

Those are the earliest memories/stories I can recall.

AceFuzzLord,

Nothing I can do. Just do my best to finish out at college (assuming financial aid is still a thing) and move out of the country ASAP.

AceFuzzLord,

Stumpt. Despite having 540k subs, they aren’t one of the super high energy balls to the walls energy where every 5 seconds they zoom in on a small part of the video. They usually have a much more calm energy about them and one thing I really like is how they aren’t telling you to like and subscribe every few minutes, let alone at all in their videos usually.

AceFuzzLord,

I personally find it was a hell of a lot better when they were getting to the end and things weren’t just Fin and Jake randomly screaming while on an adventure to do something absolutely random.

AceFuzzLord,

I’d probably squander these questions because if it’s the Christian devil, I’m not sure whether or not to trust him or not.

  1. What’s my name?
  2. What’s your name?
  3. Did you know I’m asking these questions because I don’t know whether or not to believe you?
AceFuzzLord,

I couldn’t tell you how far into the series it is, but that is how I came across Detective Conan. Nearing a decade ago I found it on netflix and had absolutely no clue what was going on but I stuck with the maybe 12 or so episodes they had. I eventually learned that it was pretty far into the series. Couldn’t tell you how far, but pretty far in.

AceFuzzLord,

I absolutely do not trust a Crazy Taxi reboot to be good based on the other games in the series and the fact they probably won’t have All I Want by The Offspring, but I really have high hopes for a Jet Set Radio reboot! If they can make something amazing like the original, I’d just about die of excitement!

AceFuzzLord,

If that’s true, I think I’m gonna die of disappointment.

AceFuzzLord,

Don’t know if any other browsers do it, but Firefox for desktop added an option when right clicking links to copy without URL tracker. I don’t know if it works on yt links, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction.

AceFuzzLord,
  1. All those esport players have really shown how pathetic they are. I don’t care how good their reflexes are in a game like cod or whatever. If I were hiring at any company and saw someone with esports as part of their resume, you can assume that I’ve already “accidentally” lost it and that I “accidentally” started a fire in a nearby trash can. Needless to say, I don’t see any value in those “professional” wastes of space.
  2. Calling “Dave the Driver” an indie game is like whitewashing the term. Any game that is made and distributed by a company with a net worth of over $100k (over 1million times more in this case) is definitely not indie by any means whatsoever. Doesn’t matter if there is pixel art and nobody knows the company. Otherwise we could have any company, say Sintendo, release a new IP and claim it’s indie so long as they do it under a subsidiary.
AceFuzzLord,

If you have to brag about people not hating your product, it ain’t a good product.

AceFuzzLord,

This is my dad in a nutshell. I’ll tell him about something simple on either his laptop or on whatever app he’s using on the smart TV and he’ll tell me to be quiet and that he can figure it out. I definitely think it’s a pride thing in us males. That, or he’s getting old and doesn’t want to deal with the realization that he doesn’t fully understand modern technology anymore.

AceFuzzLord,

Biggest downside and upside to Lemmy is the lack of content.

AceFuzzLord,

One of the only things I could think of that isn’t super expensive would be a Dreamcast VMU (or two, only have 1 currently) and a US copy of Chu Chu rocket. Really not much I want that isn’t expensive and I definitely ain’t asking for expensive shit.

AceFuzzLord,

I’m glad I have my outlook account because my other emails are pretty unprofessional.

AceFuzzLord,
  1. I don’t see how anyone could play a game like Minetest on their phone. I have tried before and struggle like hell when compared to playing on desktop.
  2. It’s definitely not a maintained or worked on game anymore, but I really like Me And My Shadow (MAMS). It’s just a 2D platformer, but the twist is that you get to record movements for a shadow version of yourself to follow to try and help either you or it reach the end of the level. I don’t recall if there’s anything other than the windows version.
  3. I also would like to throw in HyperRouge (which took me forever to find because I couldn’t remember the name). Something, something, traverse top down isometric hexagon world fighting enemies, collecting things, unlocking new areas, something, something. It’s been a few months since I last played, so my memory is a little fuzzy.
AceFuzzLord,

Back in the neighborhood I grew up in, we actually had a drug house that was taken by civil asset forfeiture. They had an RV/trailer (IDK which it was) in their driveway that people would go into for drug related shit and at one point a vehicle was set on fire in the middle of the night, probably to destroy the evidence it was stolen. I’m glad the drug selling scum were taken care of, especially since there were kids on the block.

AceFuzzLord,

Wouldn’t surprise me if, assuming this actually comes to fruition, certain game stores such as epic or any of the non-Steam/GoG stores end up implementing the selling of your digital games in the most absolute abhorrent ways imaginable. Things like making the service to sell your games on their shops run at a snails pace, being forced into a profit cut because you use their service, or just flat out editing your account to make you break ToS and then deleting your account.

AceFuzzLord,

If you’re lucky, you can find these TI calculators in thrift shops or other similar places. I’ve been lucky since I got both of my last 2 graphing calculators at a yard sale and thrift shop respectively, for maybe around $40-$50 for both.

AceFuzzLord,

It’s not worth giving any attention to so it doesn’t spread any further.

AceFuzzLord,

Technically we already have things like Vocaloid, which aren’t AI yet, but do have their own holographic concerts that are popular in places like Japan and China. So having an AI artist come on stage and sing be too farfetched for me, despite the fact I’d hate it because it’s a soulless entity devised by the corporate fascists. As for the quality of AI generated songs, no clue, but I can totally see them just ripping off up and coming human artists and then sending cease and desist letters to them for “StEaLiNg Ai GeNeRaTeD mUsIc” that was originally stolen or just stealing popular vocaloid songs and piggybacking off of every single person they can for profit.

AceFuzzLord,

Just got into Backpack Hero recently after someone I watch online released a video a week or two ago going back to the game now that it’s released. I kinda became a little addicted as it’s pretty much been the only PC game I’ve been playing since I got it.

AceFuzzLord,

Zero across my phone and desktop at the moment. Having more than around 5 tabs open at once does not sit well with me.

AceFuzzLord,

Recently, if it’s through Steam, I haven’t bought hardly anything. And the last things I’ve bought were either under $20 or on sale for under that price. Otherwise, the most expensive game I’ve bought in the last year was Pokemon Violet. Otherwise I have bought some used old games from a nearby shop for a cheap enough price.

Though I do have plans to buy some indie games on my Steam list, some of which I first pirated and played, when I have the money because I’d much rather my money be going towards those indie devs than [insert soulless multi-million dollar company ].

AceFuzzLord,

Where would you find that middle poster looking one? Hahahaha just asking for a friend… Definitely not in love with it… That could never happen… Unless…

AceFuzzLord,

Thanks. This is beautiful.

AceFuzzLord,

I’ve been using the fingertip grip when I lay in bed since I ain’t got a proper desk. Otherwise I use more of a palm grip when sitting up and using my mouse on the stand I use to hold my monitor.

AceFuzzLord,

I’m probably partially inside a dishwasher now and now we have to wait forever for the apartment managers to replace it and the counter.

AKA my life becomes slightly harder as now I have the first world problem of having to manually wash and dry dishes by hand.

AceFuzzLord,

Definitely one of the biggest things keeping me from switching from gboard to an open source keyboard is that I use my keyboard for not just English, but Japanese (12 key and handwriting recognition), Chinese (both simp. and trad. pinyin and handwriting recognition), Korean, and French and I have yet to find an open source keyboard that has all of those wrapped under a single keyboard.

AceFuzzLord,

That would also be amazing. There have been plenty of times I wanted to hit an apostrophe or z, x, or c and accidentally switched to another language. It’s annoying.

AceFuzzLord,

I’m definitely one of those people who can barely speak, read, write any CJK or French, but I at least still use them from time to time. Especially as a vocaloid fan (for CJK).

AceFuzzLord,

The one in the top left looks like a Sadida and I’m totally down, despite the fact it’s probably not one.

AceFuzzLord,

I have the same problem, except I’ll sometimes end up chewing them so much that one finger will bleed in-between the finger and nail on the side. In fact, I’m pretty sure I have dried blood under one of my fingernails.

AceFuzzLord,

Honestly , can’t wait for the future where companies like them are allowed to make adless entertainment illegal. It’s going to be the absolute best future we could ever ask for. We should be thankful to our overlords for saving us from never having to see ads ever again. /s

Yo! I’d absolutely be down to see a super edgy Shadow who just happens to be that way because he’s closeted and ends up having feelings for Sonic! I doubt they have enough balls to do it, but I’d love to see it!

That, or because of his edge and being in some sort of suspended animation chamber for too long, Shadow is severely out of date with what he can and cannot say and do, similar to Abraham Lincoln in the Clone High reboot.

Edit: I accidentally mistook Abe for George Washington

AceFuzzLord,

Aha! Now I got you! I’m sending a Swat team there this very instant!

AceFuzzLord,

NewPipe and the fork Pipe pipe have been working working on my android. Can’t say anything on the piped or invidious side of things since I don’t watch videos on browser if I can avoid it.

AceFuzzLord,

Either a proper sequel to Chu-Chu Rocket that isn’t that Duckmarines or the one exclusive to apple, or a modern Vib-Ribbon inspired game where I can pause without having to quit my session.

I especially want the Vib-Ribbon one so I can just have the game scan my music folder on my desktop and create custom tracks without me having to do anything.

AceFuzzLord,

Maybe it’s the instance I’m on, lemme(dot)ee, but I have absolutely no clue what’s going on since I ain’t seeing any sailor moon ai art.

AceFuzzLord,

I’ve definitely seen those, but never sailor moon specifically. I also don’t block them since I’ve already scrolled down far enough that there usually isn’t really any good content left to find at that point.

AceFuzzLord,

Great for desktop/laptop, but I’m waiting for them to release it on mobile as well. At the very least, if they have, Mull hasn’t added it yet.

AceFuzzLord,

Besides just the standard defender, I also have the free version of malwarebytes just in case. Common sense is great and all, but it doesn’t help in every single situation.

AceFuzzLord, (edited )

Don’t remember exactly what it was, but I think it was Samsung and was one of the ones where you slid it up to access the keypad. I got it around middle school as a hand-me-down from my dad. I thought it was the absolute coolest thing at the time, despite that was around when my parents were upgrading to smart phones. I’ll definitely have to look it up to see what it was.

Edit:

On GSMArena there is 66 pages of different model Samsung phones and plenty that you slid up to access the keypad. Finding the exact model would be like finding a straw of hay in a needle stack, so I’m giving up after 14 pages.

AceFuzzLord,

On an old laptop of mine that has pretty piss poor specs I ended up messing with the regedit on win10. On the only account on the laptop, I lost admin access and couldn’t change it back. I tried fixing it using a solution online that required downloading Linux and booting it up on a thumb drive. After that failed and I found out that Best Buy was just suggesting reinstalling win10, I just said “fuck it” and installed Ubuntu, which was what I had on my thumb drive. That was a couple years ago. Since then I have switched to Sparky Linux, even though I rarely use that laptop anymore thanks to my desktop.

I’m definitely not ultra obsessed with it, but I do find it’s nice to have.

AceFuzzLord,
  1. I jumped ship after the 3rd party app fiasco.
  2. I never used it, so I had no reason to make a switch. I also did make a mastodon account once, but I don’t know what happened to it and I can’t find it.
  3. I only ever use it for updates for a few games. Also, I can’t ditch it because the club I’m in at my community college, the club discord server is how we communicate and there’s probably no way I could convince the club to switch since the next year, various members might have gotten their degree or left the club for various reasons.
  4. If my favorite channels switched over to something like Peertube or even some place like Odysee, then I’d definitely switch. Most of the people I watch would never leave and I just don’t feel like putting in the effort to find new people to watch since I’ve been watching some of my favorites for over a decade.
AceFuzzLord,

Compared to the other pizza places in my hometown (Domino’s, Papa John’s, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, etcetera) it’s literally the 2nd best chain restaurant pizza I’ve ever had.
