AceFuzzLord,

If that’s how your kitchen ends up after cooking, I think you need to learn how to clean as you cook. That, or just stay outta my way.

AceFuzzLord,

But you have to implement [Insert Niche Feature That Adds No Benefit For The Average User] because I need it and can’t be bothered to implement it myself! /s

AceFuzzLord,

At that point we start Web 2.0 (or whatever version) where we get any and all the smart people to switch over to our new web. Hell, we could even start it on something like I2P. I’m more than willing to ditch the current web for the smaller community that we could create if it means giving a big “FUCK YOU!” to gøøgl€.

Or better yet, we could start it now rather than wait for the downfall of the normie web.

AceFuzzLord,

They look at ethics the same way I look at any mushroom: with disgust and with plenty of shuttering.

AceFuzzLord,

For just about every single pokemon fan game I play, the fandom wiki pages have pretty much been utter garbage. Either they’re out of date, contain almost no useful info, or have a slew of other problems making it as painful as falling in a bunch of cacti. Same for most other ones I used to visit.

Will admit, Pokemon Empire having their own site for their fan game is still infinitely better than the fandom pages for it.

AceFuzzLord,

Corporate needs you to find the difference between these two pictures.

Sundari: Lol, obviously the left usess g255 and the right side has g254 in their RGB codes. Can you not tell the difference?

AceFuzzLord,

I still end up using programs/services such as malwarebytes and virustotal on my desktop since defender isn’t perfect. I have had a few instances where a game that I download outside of places like Steam had files that are actually clean and safe given false positives. Same with any key gens I’ve used.

With malwarebytes and virustotal, I’ve had less false positives in legally obtained games I know are clean. Moreso with malwarebytes since there’s seemingly almost always one engine on VT saying the file is bad regardless of what it is.

I always find that having a 3rd party check a file is better than just having defender do all the work. What one engine might claim is bad might be safe to another.

AceFuzzLord,

Ah, yes, more news on the real rulers of New York: the rats. Step aside humans! Do not interrupt your superior overlords!

AceFuzzLord,

If I asked people what subaoritc stinosis is, there is absolutely no way the average Joe or Jill would understand what that is or what it causes. So, that.

AceFuzzLord,

I see the top triangles in the middle as almost like evil eyes and the ones below it as either a 2 part mustache or something like teeth. All part of some demonic beings head.

AceFuzzLord,

Definitely the fact that we have access to technology that allows us to effectively create and spread misinformation at lightning speed, all without having to leave the comfort of our homes. Misinformation that can be seen by millions of people across the globe in a matter of moments after it is created.

Would you prefer if games had a separate difficulty setting for boss fights?

I usually play games on “normal” difficulty these days, for a balanced challenge. However, I don’t particularly enjoy boss fights, or at least I don’t enjoy the extra challenge associated with them. Was thinking it would be nice if games had a separate setting so I could just set boss fights to “easy”, while not...

AceFuzzLord,

Totally depends on the game. Some games, like Ratchet and Clank Size Matters, yes for the final boss. Games like Brok The InvestiGator, no because I found the combat easy on the hardest difficulty.

AceFuzzLord,

Borderlands 1 on xbox360 specifically.

Pokemon Uranium (my absolute favorite pokemon fan game)

Star Wars Battlefront II on PS2 because I never had an original Xbox

Though, it’s a tie between Battle Front II and the Sonic Mega Collection on GameCube.

AceFuzzLord,

You know you’re bad when someone like Alex Jones has to be the voice of reason.

AceFuzzLord,

As much as I am all for inclusive art, I would have not melted that statue and instead put it in a museum as a memorial to who the south once thought of as a hero. Maybe add some context like how he shouldn’t be celebrated, but still provide historical context as to his person and insight into how people back then thought of him.

AceFuzzLord,

I remember when I first learned the theory that we humans may have evolved from monkeys and grabbed my dad’s 22 he used to have from the gun vault and went on a rampage. Totally happened, I swear. It was February 31st, 198457 AD.

All jokes aside, that sounds like a very braindead take to blame evolution instead of looking at the root of the problem.

AceFuzzLord,

Wait, you can handle 10 hours of shows? I’m lucky to get through 3 episodes of my favorite cartoons before stopping.

AceFuzzLord,

How’d you get a picture of me last weekend?

AceFuzzLord,

As someone with a lower end spec desktop, I personally think that running emulated games or just normal PC titles at a much lower speed isn’t an issue. Especially since I don’t play FPS games.

I’m one of those people who’d be fine running a game at fluctuating 30FPS just so long as I can play it. It’s how my desktop handled mc before I boycotted it for minetest and how it handles minetest when I’m not on a super flat void world due to mod strain.

AceFuzzLord,

I can’t say how popular it is amongst Linux users/fans, but Sparky is pretty cool. I had it on my shitty laptop for a while because I need a distro that worked with low ram and storage.

Also, not Linux based, but I’d love to see more work done on the Amiga based AROS. It’s hella niche, but I’d work on it if I had the knowhow and skills.

AceFuzzLord,

No. First time hearing about it. I’ll definitely have to boot it in a VM on my desktop and check it out.

AceFuzzLord,

By stopping all cars with pregnant women and telling them they aren’t allowed to leave the county. I imagine that’s what they might end up doing.

AceFuzzLord,

Yo, this was one of the songs that got me addicted to the crack that is 90s music.

AceFuzzLord,

I have been trying to beat a 2nd run in Slay the Spire. I also have been failing to get past round 15 in that endless mode in Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate.

AceFuzzLord,

That man child has the emotions and humour of a little kid, I swear.

AceFuzzLord,

Ya know, if someone wants to spend their money on it, I really don’t care because that’s their money and not mine. It’s not something I would personally buy into, but to each their own.

AceFuzzLord,

I was just about to say either deleting your account or not using the service is an opt-out, but you beat me to it.

AceFuzzLord,

Imagine that. IT knowing how to fix the issues they caused. What a revolutionary thought! /s

AceFuzzLord,

That sounds like the equivalent of asking a carpenter to build a wooden boat large enough to carry 30 people, but only giving them Fisherprice tools and foam blocks.

AceFuzzLord,

I don’t normally drink coffee at all, but my parents still have a coffee maker, so they at least do.

AceFuzzLord,

Even though I got files of many differing audio types, the feeling is still mutual. No dealing with ads or paywalled/removed features on Auxio on my phone or Strawberry Music Player on my desktop.

The amount of song has only been going up since I got my first smartphone in highschool and it feels good having them stored on my phone/desktop for local playback.

AceFuzzLord,

I know it’s just some rag bait nonsense, but I know as a fact most teens would never want their parents to constantly know where they are and monitor them constantly.

AceFuzzLord,

I swear, it doesn’t matter what I try, pasta always sucks. Doesn’t matter if I constantly stir, add oil, anything. It always sticks.

AceFuzzLord,

Mamma Mia, Here I Go Again!

My, My, How Can I Resist You?

Mamma Mia, Does It Show Again?

My, My, Just How Much I Missed You!

AceFuzzLord,

At this point, anyone who was part of the 3rd party app protests who stayed and didn’t make the switch clearly didn’t want to jump here, so they’ll probably be on r€dd!t for a long time.

AceFuzzLord,

I’d like to think the people involved heard about Lemmy because we essentially kept saying, “Hey, we’re jumping ship!”, but I can’t remember if we did or not. I’m pretty sure there was some migrate to Lemmy sub that was also advertised in the saving 3rd party apps sub, but I, again, can’t remember whether that actually happened.

I’d definitely like to think anyone in the protest 100% knew about Lemmy unless they actually weren’t paying any attention whatsoever.

AceFuzzLord,

Maybe I should start using my laptop as a mousepad instead of just the small collapsible dinner tray or my bed. That’d be a much better use for it.

This post has given me a good enough idea! Thanks OP!

AceFuzzLord,

Nothing quite like the music publishers having a temper tantrum when an AI is able to give publicly available online lyrics to a song just because they aren’t making any form of money from that AI.

I side with Anthropic on this one since I don’t view sharing lyrics in any way, shape, or form a breach of copyright so long as it’s done in a non-commercial way. And yes I also view Claude just listing them as non-commercial, even if you are on the payed plan.

Fuck the music industry in this case. It’s no wonder the bigwigs in the industry probably only land one night stands, gold diggers, and hookers given their greed and one nanometer beaters.

AceFuzzLord,

As cool as being able to guarantee a roll with their dice would be, that would take away all the fun for me because I love the uncertainty of rolling and getting an unpredictable outcome.

AceFuzzLord,

An app like Canta would be absolutely dangerous for me because I’d probably accidentally deleting an app that ends up causing my phone to spiral into chaos, but I can see how others who are more responsible would love it.

AceFuzzLord,

They could sell bottled water, claiming it’s better than all other water and the absolute fanboys who will live and die by apple will absolutely spend a whole months paycheck and sell their liver just for a single bottle.

AceFuzzLord,

…children should only share thoughts and feelings with their parents.

I get the sentiment, but yeesh that’s a statement I can’t get behind.

AceFuzzLord,

Clearly nothing shady at all when your company makes threats (empty or otherwise) that they’re gonna disappear from your country if you investigate them for incompliance.

Nothing to see here, just move along. /s

AceFuzzLord,

Just got back into Dofus Touch. I’m not far on either Touch, the PC version, or the sequel Wakfu, but they are at least fun enough for me to enjoy.

AceFuzzLord,

Calling the over glorified chatbots and LLMs like GPT or Claude AGI would be like me calling a preschool finger painting a master class work of art, from my understanding of them. Though, I can’t say I’m anywhere near an expert, so definitely take what I say with a major grain of salt.

What these AI chatbots and LLMs can do is sometimes impressive, but that’s all I can say about them. Intelligence is definitely not their strong suit when half of the time you’ll ask for a summary of a well known and loved TV show only for it to just make up anything that sounds right.

AceFuzzLord,

I’d go on a road trip and pay just to see that building if it became a museum. I imagine all the cool things like the wall or any remaining items have either been vandalized, renovated, or just flat out removed, sadly.
