Heads up, I had to remove this extension on my browser because some websites would get stuck in a redirect loop because it’d remove the tracking stuff it’d use in a redirect chain. Took me months to figure out what was causing it
I didn’t even see an option to nominate this year. And Hades II is probably more significant, however nobody’s even played it. It shouldn’t have even been available for nominations until next year IMO. Kinda diminishes the meaning of the awards
Idk I always understood the releases. ~YYMM then YYHX. The update from the second half of 2022 is 22H2, before that, 1909 for September 2019 (if I remember right it was delayed til October) but can you tell me how old 8.1 is just by looking at the number? >!2013 sometime I think?!< To me this just makes so much more sense idk. They mention “Fall Creators Update” and “Anniversary update” which are more akin to codenames than what they call the update.
Hello, I successfully rooted my Pixel 8 Pro but I am stuck at “Phone is starting” after enabling Zygisk and rebooting. It does boot fine into safe mode tho. What can cause this issue and how can I fix it? Thx a lot!
Are you on an update before November and have multiple profiles enabled? If so this is a known issue. If not, ADB logcat (I’m assuming your computer is authorized)
So I have some random thrud party head unit in my car that I am pretty sure is just running a customized version of Android 9 and I am wanting to get Android auto working on it preferably wireless but I think it did come with a USB cable if I need it. I’ve seen a couple things online such as headunit reloaded but they have...
I use this app to have an updated version on my head unit. It’s paid, but it’s super worth it. Don’t use the trial version, it hasn’t been updated in years. If it doesn’t work for you just refund it.
(Just realized you mentioned it in your main post, can confirm it works great for me!)
I had this when I had the resolution set wrong, it’ll take anything as input but make sure it matches your tablet screen. If that doesn’t work, drop a line on the XDA forums, the dev is active on there (go to the support section in the app for a link)
I’ve never had much luck with the consumer level canon printers, absolute pieces of shit. I used to sell printers and would steer people towards brother or Epson. However last I saw, canon did still have printers that could be used entirely offline.
I’m going to be in the market for a camera soon, and I’ll never touch a Canon because of their printers. If they want good brand recognition they have to earn it and they have not for me
I can sometimes sense cops or deer when I’m driving.
I’ll be sitting at a red light for a while with nobody coming, I think to myself “yeah I can probably just run this, nobody’s around. I won’t in case a cop…” and then one will pass the light. It’s happened multiple times to me.
When I hit a deer with my car I was coming home from work at like 2am, I suddenly got a really strange urge that there was something up ahead and I dismissed it right before I plowed into it. I’ve gotten the same feeling a few times after that, and I’ll always look to the sides of the road and see deer somewhere in the distance. Terrifies the shit outta me
I purchased a second hand ThinkPad from an ebay outlet. When it arrived I wiped windows 10 from it and installed ubuntu with no issues. It runs perfect without any weird fixes needed. However, after just checking the bios to see if I could change some settings, I realised it has a supervisor password....
bios-pw.org doesn’t explicitly say it supports any Lenovo products, but I’ve had luck using them with Dell products before. No clue if this will work for you or if it’s a generic article meant to suck you in and grab ad revenue.
I’m like 75% sure they can use ADB sideload to run scripts, if it’s fixed by a fsck couldn’t they write that into an OTA.zip and sign it with their key so devices will run it? Then all users would have to do is plug it into a website similar to the Pixel Flash Tool they have and boot into fastboot.
I’m not an Android dev, I’ve just installed my fair share of ROMS and I’m just throwing stuff out there and seeing what sticks. Feel free to tell me I’m wrong and a moron
Ads in any kind of app store search should SUPER NOT BE ALLOWED. Microsoft does it, Google does it, even the Apple app store has it. I don’t want my grandma to be looking for her bank app and download Fast Cash Transfer Free 2024 Edition instead
I honestly don’t get it either, I thought it was all voice acted and was surprised at the customized lines for each team. Didn’t even consider that it could be AI
Edit: the clip in the article sounds worse than what I heard in game, not sure if it’s been tweaked since then or if I was too busy to notice
I’ve been using iPhone 14 Pro Max for a year which my company gave me. But it has disadvantages more than advantages for me. I want to change it with an Android phone that bootloader unlockable. I want to install Google-free ROM....
Huh? Every ThinkPad I’ve had let’s me boot to a USB drive. Check your bios settings something is off, unless it’s through a company and they have it specifically disabled.
I’m not seeing anything that would be preventing this from showing up in the BIOS, is the USB drive formatted GPT? Does it recognize on any other computers? It may just be that it’s not discovering the EFI file. Also check Startup > Boot > Excluded from Boot Priority Order, but this shouldn’t matter for the F12 menu.
Waiting on my ghost to come in, the grip for the 7 was a nice high quality case. Would recommend them.
I got a bubble under the skin after a few days and contacted support for a remedy, they suggested a hot air dryer but also sent a new skin without my asking free of charge. Like they literally just sent it to the order address and said “btw you’ve got another one in the mail”. So A+ customer support in my books.
So there are two arguments being made in this situation. The first is that because Google kills off services and products all of the time, that taking their word for a 7-year promise is foolish. In other words, you might not want to trust them because they killed off a Pixel Pass that 25 people signed up for, a Google Podcasts app that was basically a browser in an app shell that was given a proper replacement, a niche business presentation screen in Jamboard, and Stadia…freaking Stadia. They gave you all of your money back and let you keep the controller, guys.
C’mon guys they had a “proper replacement” and let you keep the controller! They’re not all that bad! 👅🥾
I’ll never forgive them for Google Play Music.
I do however believe they’re going to stick to their word here though. They make the processor and the OS, it’d have to take some extreme ignorance to fuck that up. It’s not like they’re reliant on Qualcomm to release new drivers for the chip, one of the big reasons devices stop being updates.
