simple,

Android’s compatibility has been a mess for all of time really but I feel like it’s gotten to a new low recently. It’s kind of crazy how many games or apps that are only a few years old won’t work on newer versions of Android anymore.

simple,

The evidence does point to just pure incompetence but it’s hard to believe he didn’t know that none of the money had been sent over the past decade, especially since he claimed multiple times they spent it. If not him, someone in the charity must’ve stolen the money and lied to him. Guess we’ll wait and see.

simple,

No, it’s a choose your own adventure horror game.

simple,

Well, yeah basically, but unlike most visual novels it’s very non-linear and each path you take is only around ~20 minutes before you get sent back to the start and choose another path.

simple,

There are a lot of paths that I felt ended abruptly or had a kind of unsatisfying ending, it’s my only fault with the game. Can’t wait to see how they’ll expand on those.

simple,

This is a rumor based on a controller listing. Total clickbait.

simple,

The people who voted for Starfield for most innovative gameplay have to be taking a piss lol

simple,

Block the bots making those posts, there are only around 3 or so that keep spamming. Your feed will feel a lot better after.

simple,

Dead Space the remake? I’ve played through it recently and haven’t noticed any issues. My framerate was pretty smooth.

simple,

To release and support The Last of Us Online we’d have to put all our studio resources behind supporting post launch content for years to come, severely impacting development on future single-player games. So, we had two paths in front of us: become a solely live service games studio or continue to focus on single-player narrative games that have defined Naughty Dog’s heritage.

It’s good that they didn’t bother continuing the project, but I’m surprised it wasn’t canceled earlier. ND are clearly a singleplayer studio, and supporting a large scale live service game would need some massive restructuring, all for a game nobody really asked for. Glad they didn’t go through with it.

simple,

“No reason” lmao check this guy’s account. Clearly he got banned for a fair reason and is making alt accounts to cause drama.

simple,

The story boils down to some guy and his father constantly throwing each other off a cliff, you’re not missing that much.

simple,

There was a point 1-2 years ago where the frontpage was literally nothing but softcore porn. Disgusting that they’re doubling down on it. The funny thing is they happily ban game streamers if a game shows nudity for a second or two.

simple,

Twerking, grinding and pole dancing are now allowed without a label.

simple,

That’s the point, the only thing this does is allow more sexual content on the platform under a new label. All the other things like pole dancing and women in bikinis and hot tub streams don’t have to be labeled and are considered fine.

simple,

Bwahahahaha, the gall to charge $18 for a DLC before fixing their broken game that people are already abandoning. Surely this will make the playerbase stick around.

simple,

The announcement was that they cancelled E3 this year and a lot of people speculated it was done for good, this is the first time we got official conformation.

simple,

I’m a bit baffled that some people still use HDDs considering how cheap SSDs have gotten. You can get a 2TB M.2 for around $100. If you’ve got the specs for new games, there’s no excuse.

Titles like "This game mix [game] and [another game] to give a [appreciation words] challenge" are really getting that annoying?

To me, honestly, no much. I can see the SEO efforts: if you have to talk about a game called “suckass” probably… very few people will click on the title. But when they put [GTA] and [BALDUR’s GATE] for a generic fantasy game where you steal stuff, you can see the magazine publisher is that hungry for click....

simple,

I think it’s fine as long as it makes sense. “X meets Y” can summarize a whole selling pitch and readers will instantly know if they’re interested or not. At some point it even became genre names like “souls-like” or “metroidvania”, you instantly know what you’re in for.

You can’t explain a game in the post’s title so a ton of people won’t even bother looking at it if you don’t do this.

simple,

During this hearing, it was revealed by psychiatrist Dr Claudia Camden-Smith that during an assessment, Kurtaj had stated his intention to return to his life of crime upon being released.

Whatever happened to psychiatrist-patient privacy and all that?

simple,

Ahhh, I misunderstood. That makes more sense.

simple,

The problem is that it feels really disrespectful to the people winning awards. Sometimes they group awards together to “get them out of the way”. Most awards don’t even get speeches, they just say X won the award and instantly move on.

And when someone does win the award, everyone wants them to get off the stage because people are here for the trailers, not the actual game awards part. They give them maybe a minute before slowly ramping up the music (their cue for getting off the stage). The guy that won best performer for baldur’s gate 3 was speedrunning his speech and even then they played music over him at the end. They have zero respect for the game award part honestly.
