I really hate how inflammatory Jobst is, but some of the things he pointed out in this video had my jaw on the floor, and it was the last straw for some folks - Jirard is apparently being removed from Sea of Stars, and a lot of folks online are pretty convinced now Jirard effed up.

He not only said he knew in 2021, he went and claimed again in the next Indieland that the money was going to a bunch of places when he knew it wasn’t.

I’m glad the money finally got donated - even though the amount donated doesn’t cover everything they had in 2022 and doesn’t include anything from the golfing charity, so something is definitely sus there - but yeah, no one is ever going to trust him again, and they shouldn’t.

I’m glad the money got donated, but this is still so odd. I still don’t understand why he kept saying they were donating the money to all these places during fundraising when they were sitting on the cash.

That’s what I was feeling watching it, too. Maybe it’s because I recently watched that big Hbomberguy video on plagiarism, where he went into detail breaking down another “My Response” video to someone accused, rightly, of wrongdoing, but this whole video had me more distrustful. I really want to be wrong, but something’s not adding up.

PC gamers already often have to wait for games to come to PC, so it’s no big thing to wait a little longer to get those games for cheaper. We’re already not getting it day one a lot of the time, so there’s no FOMO.

I want to play FF16, but since I’ve already gotta wait a year to get it, I’m fine waiting until it’s on sale. Same with Horizon Forbidden West. I’ve waited this long to be able to play the DLC (I have the game on PS4, but the dlc was PS5 only), I don’t mind waiting longer.

The spoiler tag works on kbin.

I think the problem is that the two sites use different tags for spoilers. He’s tagged it properly for kbin, but it will show up on lemmy. Same way for when people use lemmy spoiler tags, folks on kbin see the spoiler.

It’s not really so much focused on sex and relationships, but an earlier version of the game had the romance triggers set too low, so it got a reputation for everyone in the game being excessively horny, plus the internet is gonna internet.

I personally had fun with the triggers for other characters saying they wanted in your pants being originally set too low, because I was playing a horribly socially awkward ranger who lived in the woods far away from people, and she had no idea what to do with what seemed like everyone and their cousin suddenly hitting on her. Poor thing constantly had a voice in her head screaming, “THIS IS WHY I LIVE IN THE WOODS!”

Nexus Mods specifically has rules against these kinds of mods. It was removed for violating them. They have the right to make whatever rules they went about the content they host.

Not just LGBTQ content, but also things that race swap characters. It’s why they took down the mod that made Wyll white.

That was my first thought when I was watching a clip of him declaring it was going to be the advertiser boycott that killed Twitter. It was just like Trump talking about the elections being rigged before the election - he was setting up his way to shift the blame for why he lost.

Jirard hasn’t said anything, which looks bad but probably is the best thing legally.

Girls have to wear skirts no matter the weather, including on cold days, abs are not allowed to wear tights. Japanese schools often are not geared other than a large space heater in the front of the room, so girls can spend their entire day cold. Meanwhile boys can be completely covered up and warm.
