Yeah. I’ve been pleasantly surprised. He stays in his lane alone with the other souls streamers. That community seems to be pretty good at being good people.
So interesting as I intentionally walk slower now. There’s something cathartic about watching people pass you constantly knowing nothing they’re going to is that important in the grand scheme of things.
Asking a question as a separated dad which I think I know the answer to. I get my kids every other week. Outside of that I also take them one on one (I have 3 of which 2 are special needs) when it isn’t my week. I have no idea why my ex doesn’t do the same. She comments I never have alone time because I’m using my week off from them, but I love my kids and they deserve one on one time. They also never leave my house early when the week is up but they’re always eager to come to my house even when it’s not time to show up yet.
I’ve always assumed it will pay off in the long run and they’re aware.

I watched HDD and then 2U on a glowing recommendation I knew it was positioned as a horror but damn I didn’t know what I was getting into and they’re two of the funnest movies I’ve seen in years. My only regret is not seeing them in the theatre as they come across as movies people would be yelling at the screen which is the best kind of movie IMHO
Amen. I grew up in rural Ontario where everyone and their kid has either a pickup truck or a beat up old Cutlass. I yearn to have a pickup because of how awesome they are. Challenge is I live in suburbia. It doesn’t make sense and I can’t justify it. People really need to think critically more about their purchases.

Nothing comes without risks and years of research has shown the hearing damage from traditional headphones. There has to be a rub with these. What are the negative rumblings of using these style of headphones. They have to be there. We just don’t have the decades of research yet.

I’ve been in my house for 2 years. Based on housesigma.com my valuation is already up $150k. I could care less if it tanks. Something is severely fucky when they have no idea if/what work I’ve done and my valuation is up that much after 2 years.
I bought for 750k. There is no logical reason why my house would now be worth 900k. So yes, it can tank. By tank I mean stop appreciating at the ridiculous levels we’ve seen the last 10 years.
If housing prices were to completely stagnate or depreciate by 10% tomorrow I would still be even or ahead.
