I’ve had the idea to get a handful of headphones at a dollar store and hand them out whenever someone is playing their music out loud. I’ve never done it, though.
You bring up a good point. ADHD is often comorbid with other things, usually anxiety and/or depression. Often, those with ADHD, are only treated for those depression/anxiety symptoms and the provider misses the ADHD.
Ask a counselor, therapist, or psychiatrist what they think. They’ll be the best person to suggest a treatment plan or path to diagnosis. It might take several sessions, but it’s so worth it.
I’ve often wondered how or why that would ever happen (existing guns being forcibly removed). Are there any examples of countries that voted in gun control laws that required all existing guns be turned in or go to jail, face fines, etc.? If so, how did they enforce the law?
Yeah, kind of seems like someone got ChatGPT to write the story and then did drawings to it. Or maybe they generated the drawing too. Regardless, it was an entertaining little comic!
I’ve asked ChatGPT to fix simple bugs that were in the code it’s given me. It usually doesn’t understand that there’s a problem and just rewrites it with different variables names.
In a surprising move, Apple has announced today that it will adopt the RCS (Rich Communication Services) messaging standard. The feature will launch via a software update “later next year” and bring a wide range of iMessage-style features to messaging between iPhone and Android users....
Sure those things are helpful but you still can’t even set a different default map, email, or browser app. I like Apple hardware, but I do not like their apps.
The idea that a company can do anything to create or perpetuate a monopoly so long as its prices go down and/or its quality goes up is directly to blame for the rise of Big Tech. Monday means refreshed Discover Weekly on Spotify so I get fresh tunes to work to. It pairs well with a fresh cup of coffee and the sun shining in the window.
Logseq and Syncthing. I really like cross-platform apps as I use a MacBook for work, an Android phone for personal and work, and a personal PC for gaming/general use. I have Logseq and Syncthing on all of them so I can journal and take notes wherever I am and it keeps everything updated.
I do have one issue where my work VPN causes Syncthing to fail when connected, so disconnecting at the end of the day is my current workaround.
It’s a loan like any other loan to help with or completely cover the cost of attending college/university. The main difference is that there are certain regulations that lenders are supposed to follow. Loans are needed because there are schools that are tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars per semester and it’s all but impossible to pay for out of pocket for the vast majority of students.
