Mh, that’s unfortunate. Do closed-source apps use less RAM? Like MS Office compared to Libre Office? Not sure if it would be fair to compare Safari to Librewolf since it’s probably optimized for MacOS. I think generally programs become less RAM efficient since people tend to have more nowadays.

I have been really appreciating open source software this year. I always preferred FOSS over the alternatives (Firefox, Thunderbird, Libre Office etc) but I tried to use it for as much as I could this year, even professionally.
Haven’t bootet into my Windows partition with Adobe Cloud for months now, it’s almost exclusively Inkscpape, Scribus, Blender and Krita on Fedora and I love it! I’m also slowly, slowly getting into Godot which seems like another piece of amazing software.
Sure there are some (very) rough edges here and there and I will have fire up Illustrator or Unity (🤢) at some point when clients demand it but I’m pretty amazed at how well it’s going.

I mean I did figure it out (maybe?) but somehow the read/write rights where messed up and the snapshot couldn’t actually boot/I wasn’t able to log in +___+ Just reinstalled the system eith good old ext4. Ich befürchte Thalia is nur weniger schlimm als Amazon weil ihre Reichweite geringer ist. Ich hab schon so viele Stories gehört wie sie kleine Buchläden kaputtgemacht haben und Verlagen Preise diktieren, wenn du Amazon boykottierst kannst du nicht zu Thalia gehen.

Latte will NOT respect my primary screen when changing monitor arrangement (ie. turning my projector on and off) and seems to randomly pick a screen to call the primary....
Does xrandr work on Wayland? I thought it was an X11 tool. That would be so cool, I use it to change the brightness on my laptop’s monitor when KDE’s gui thing stops working (after sleep, I think). I think I looked for a replacement for Wayland but did not find anything a while back
