Not office, but one time I was at the grocery store getting ready to buy my lunch and happened to look in a car next to me. There was a completely naked college age chick in the passenger seat casually smoking a cigarette. She saw me glance at her and rolled her eyes. I bought a color brother laser printer 3…almost 4 years ago. It still has the toner that came with it. We use it probably 1-3 times a week. Still going strong. Still plenty of toner left.

The extended periods of drought could very well cause the river to dry up. We just don’t know. i do know that in my part of the southeast, we have definitely seen a decrease in rainfall. Will the trend continue? Who knows. Climate change is going to redefine our regions.

Aluminum is lighter than glass. Cardboard can be treated so that it holds fluid as well (and can still be made recyclable)

Regardless, plastic requires fossil fuels to make. It needs to go.

I have aluminum cups that can be (hand) washed/reused/recycled. Most plastic cannot be recycled

I pay around $50/mo to my favorite sites for content. I wouldn’t give Twitter a dime. If this gets the few stragglers off Twitter and onto mastodon I am all for it.

If an item is hard to find they will pay it.

People that only buy stuff on eBay will pay for it.

If someone randomly sees the item they need they will buy it.

Example: I paid $2,200 on eBay for an RTX 4090 FE because they were sold out everywhere. The extra few hundred bucks for me was worth it to get the FE card over 3rd party cards since it is the smallest and quietist of the bunch. None of the other 4090s fit in my case.

Yes. 2 decades ago I met someone I wasn’t attracted to physically, and we had no common interests at all. However she was quite independent and just a smidge dominant and she had one goal: she wanted to sleep with me. That alone lead us down a brief fling which ended with a one night stand. The night was sleepless and enjoyable, but we split up after.

I don’t regret it.

I still occasionally talk to her (as a friend).
