I spent hours trying to get Epic to work before saying “fuck it” and pirated the games. You know we’re in the worst timeline when pirating is infinitely easier than installing games you’ve bought.
I own a condo and have one dog and one cat. They get along and play all the time, but I feel like the cat is often lonely and missing a cuddling companion. He’s a rescue who was a street cat for years before I adopted him. I’ve been considering fostering or adopting another cat to give him company. Thoughts?
When I adopted him he was actively cuddling with other shelter cats. He always tries to get my dog to lick and cuddle him but the dog doesn’t reciprocate. I feel like he’d attach quickly to another cat.
My cat is of questionable age. The vet says 4 ish but his personality is very much “old man”. He gives zero fucks and feels more like a roommate than a pet. He plays with my Shiba all the time and the dog always lets him “win”. Otherwise he just chills up on his tower and blesses me with affection for 30 min a day right before bed. I feel bad because he loved the fellow cats in the shelter when I adopted him and I feel that he would be gentle and patient with a new cat. I think that fostering would be ideal, because worst case scenario I can keep the foster in my home office and best case scenario my cat would get a new companion.

Did we watch the same video? Other than the pre-rendered opening, I didn’t find it to be mind-blowing in the graphics department. It looks good, sure, but not so good that an average gaming PC wouldn’t be able to run it.

There’s an extremely popular private server called HorizonXI that is the game as it was in '04. The community is amazing and it’s always easy to find a party. If you have the time to spare, I definitely recommend it.

Maybe I’m old-school, but every paycheck I take out a few hundred to act as my spending money. I mostly frequent small businesses and I know they prefer cash to avoid fees (and possibly taxes but that’s none of my business). It also helps with budgeting.

I think I must be older than you. Being young is tough, but hate is never healthy. Learn to address your issues and conquer your struggles with determination instead of turning your frustrations into unhealthy coping mechanisms. Life doesn’t have to suck, you know.

If I’m not sure, I either just use their first name, ask for pronouns, or use gender neutral pronouns. It’s not difficult.
I had an interaction today at work where I discussed a technical issue of a user of unclear pronouns and my coworker said “I think she(?) needs to…” and the question mark struck me as being very unkind. Never do that. Just use “they” or first names in those situations.
