twistypencil,

Almost lost an employee today, but salvaged it. had a 4 hr board meeting where I learned an old friend will be fired, and learned at 5 pm that I have to do a 1 hr presentation tomorrow for our biggest funder. Gahhh

twistypencil,

That is what I did, did my lcd for a good price and got the oled

twistypencil,

Ask I correct that to get hdr, you need a game that supports it, the option enabled and a display that supports it? Also the oled deck display does not support it

twistypencil,

Oh, I didn’t realize and I have one! Now I need to see it in action

twistypencil,

Sorry I was wrong. I read that somewhere and repeated it, but now I’m corrected and admitting my mistake

twistypencil,

Do you have the oled deck? It has a new bt chip and firmware that enables this

twistypencil, (edited )

I do not see a BT device in lspci, and the Network Adapter PCI address doesn’t show i /proc/acpi/wakeup,

I tried to create a systemd unit file that would issue an rfkill on bluetooth on suspend, and then re-enable it on resume, but that didn’t work either. Interestingly, if I do systemctl stop bluetooth the bluetooth service stops, and then immediate starts again!

twistypencil,

Pretty sure that place has a hidden mold problem

twistypencil,

What is gamescope? I read the github Readme, but it doesn’t describe what it does

twistypencil,

I haven’t noticed anything yet, but it’s only been a day since I got the oled. I’m in the grymforge where there’s is a lot of lava, and all 8 did was turn the ultra preset on. I didn’t touch the FSR or cap any frame rate. Things look smooth, and no stuttering, maybe I am not in an area where I’d notice, or maybe FSR and frame rate cap are causing you issues?

twistypencil,

Got mine just now. Amazing smooth experience. Moved SD card over, did some updates and just resume playing, could not be more butter

twistypencil,

I can feel it! My hands would get sore playing too long, will see if that happens now

twistypencil,

I bought mine this year, just sold it for a loss, but several months of play was worth what I paid. Can’t wait for the new deck to arrive

twistypencil, (edited )

I priced it at $265, if you look at recently sold prices, 279$ is what others have been paying

twistypencil,

I sold for 268$

twistypencil,

Someone bought it for 279, so not too high!

twistypencil,

Are there any if the non LE left?

twistypencil, (edited )

I’ve never seen one on flights, but mine is always out

twistypencil,

Sponsored by valve… I just fly all day long playing streak deck, part of their Deck Flyers influencer program

People of Lemmy! How to get fit?

Hi guys! For the past… ever, I’ve been putting my health and fitness aside. I tried a few times to get into the habit of exercising to no avail. I’m not overweight or anything but neither am I strong or flexible as I want to be. Mainly because I don’t want to have health troubles later in life. HOWEVER, to get started I...

twistypencil,

One day you will hate more how you feel.

twistypencil,

Do 20 minutes three days a week. It’s barely any time at all, and it’s over before you know it. You will be sore, and appreciate the down days. If you feel up to it, take a 20-30 minute walk in the other days, or a sauna if you have one available. That is it for a while, do that consistently for a couple months and then it will be routine and you will be craving it. Trust the process, it does work. Source: I didn’t exercise for 45 years, just started this year and it’s paying off

twistypencil,

Now I want to sell my gently used deck for one of these

twistypencil,

If someone finds a good version of this, please post

twistypencil,

This describes the rabbit holes that programmers I work with go down and never come out very well

Is a VPN needed with DNS over HTTPS and Encrypted Client Hello?

I was wondering if a VPN would add any kind of security or privacy if one is connecting to a host with a client/browser that supports DNS over HTTPS and that host supports encrypted client hello. Is there a way for the ISP or anything in between to shape traffic or even know what is being accessed? The only thing that should be...

twistypencil,

In this case, a VPN only offers obscuring that you are connecting to the dns over http end point.

twistypencil,

How do I use this? Set anti aliasing in the deck settings and then fsr2 in BG3?

twistypencil,

I find it difficult to watch things on plex when I’m 20ft from the wifi, buffer buffer… 😕

twistypencil,

I’m not sure how to tell, I’m using the htpc client and looked at every option for a show and only found that I have Allow Direct Play and Allow Direct Stream enabled and I have quality options with 4.5 Mbps 720p as the original. The file appears to be mkv h264 1280x720 eac3 5.1

If my cpu was getting pegged wouldn’t my fan get going for the delicious SD smell?

twistypencil,

Once again Larian overwhelms me with updates that I weakly to read for their cheeky comments, but cannot because they are endless

twistypencil,

Dave the Diver! Super chill, endless content, great for picking up and putting down

twistypencil,

Second Dredge!

twistypencil,

And I’ve competed three of them

This game has some pretty sublime humor at times.

There was a conversation with Withers where he shares a bunch of back-story about some of the big bads. He’s speaking pretty plainly, but there was still a dialogue option that said “Stop speaking in riddles and speak plainly. Can’t you give me more information?”. I felt like I had already obtained what I needed from...

twistypencil,

Is act 2 obvious? Because I’ve just finished the underdark, and a ton of other areas up top and they’re had never been a big sign that says Act 2

twistypencil,

Ah, I was just tinkering with the elevator but instead went down to the forge. Good to know there is a check, because I feel I have much more still to do topside. I stumbled into the underdark one fateful night and thought I was there too early but I’d have a quick look around and then get back to what I was doing… Fast forward to today and I’ve been on many adventures in the deep, forgetting my life above. Fitting for A Drow I suppose

twistypencil,

Ah yeah that area, different elevator!

twistypencil,

Of just browse the normal internet with tor bowser

twistypencil,

You should get it from the nation fdroid repo. Guardian hasn’t been doing tor browser for a while

twistypencil,

Sorry, auto complete failure… I meant to type ‘normal’

twistypencil,

You are right, it’s only in the calyxos repo

twistypencil,

Does the keyboard fit in the case when closed?

twistypencil,

Wow, this is one of the reasons I went for the new deck, the wifi and Bluetooth were not great
