As we all know, Roblox is garbage tier gameplay structured around psychological cues to get children to fill an endless pit with fake money bought with real money....
Roblox is well-known for predatory practices aimed at children, and predatory behavior from other users who may or may not be looking for children to abuse.
Banning Roblox entirely seems like a very reasonable thing to do IMO.

You ever see a dog that’s got its leash tangled the long way round a table leg, and it just cannot grasp what the problem is or how to fix it? It can see all the components laid out in front of it, but it’s never going to make the connection....
First, someone has to have bought the winning ticket. Then, that same person needs to have lost the winning ticket. Next, that person has to have lost that ticket near where you are. And finally, you have to find that lost ticket.
So while both situations are very very far from certainty, and both are approaching zero, one of the two is much, much closer to zero than the other.
Dearest lemmings, I have a prelit Costco tree that changes from warm white to color and several of the lights are out but I cannot for my life find a replacement anywhere. I called Costco/Polygroup (company that made the tree) and they don’t sell replacement led light bulbs but they gave me these specs: LED dual color 3mm...
Those look like press-ins, and they’re pretty standard. You could remove the bulb itself like mentioned, or you can remove the whole piece from another set and just press them into yours. I don’t know if you’ll be able to find individual lights though.

I’m getting increasingly frustrated trying to get my printer calibrated. I’ve done a bed calibration using screws_tilt_calculate, and that’s all nice and good. Got a bed mesh variance of 0.19mm which seems great....
Power delivery has different requirements, so it’s normal that not all ports allow it. And it’s also possible to have USB-C ports that are only on USB 2.0 hardware.
I’m considering building a new machine soon and was looking at the Intel Arc GPUs as a possibility. Anyone have experience using them in their system? I’m on Arch btw
That’s not a bad idea if you have a part big enough to print and space on the bed for both. I’m curious how strong the print would be if it’s made up of a bunch of partial lines. It would be like multiple failure points per layer. But if the part doesn’t need that much strength, it would be convenient.
This is true, but doesn’t negate any of the other facts of the situation. They were essentially threatening him with weapons. Was the guy supposed to ask the boys nicely to prove that they were armed before defending himself? If they really were armed, that could easily have gotten him shot.
The situation sucks for everyone involved, but most people in that guy’s position would have done the same thing.
This child needed help, not a bullet.
Also agreed. But he tried to carjack an armed person with threats of violence. Are you trying to tell me that if two boys were threatening to shoot you, you’d calmly try to get them help?
Those were the days when paid Xbox Live service was way better than the free PS network. If you wanted to play online, the experience was much better on Xbox. Sony’s online experience has vastly improved since then, and their first-party games are generally considered much higher quality than Microsoft’s alternatives.
I got an Ender V3 S2 a month ago to build a darksaber for my kid for Halloween. Came out looking great. No complaints. I then did a couple of upgrades (bed springs, converted to direct drive, Klipper/Mainsail rather than stock firmware/UI) and it’s a lot easier to dial in bed tramming....
Have you tried a temperature tower? It’s possible you’re printing too hot and getting stringing as a result. If that doesn’t help, I found this video a while ago for dealing with some cases of stringing that might help.
I’m still pretty new to all this, but I know there are tons of variables that can affect the print quality, and stringing is a symptom of lots of different things.

Hi again, I went thrifting and found a working, original switch dock for 3$ including the charging cable and assuming I could just plug in my other devices via the usb c input, I brought it. Turns out it doesnt work with other usb c devices for reasons and I dont own a switch personally so I’m kinda stuck with this cool paper...
It’s not the dock that is the issue, it’s the adapter. The Switch’s AC adapter is garbage and is made to work only with the Switch. Try plugging your phone into it, and you’ll see it won’t charge properly. If you replace the adapter with another USB-C adapter, it will probably work fine.
Google’s anti-ad scripts are breaking browsers and privacy plugins. It could get worse because Google controls the ad market, Chrome, and the extension store.
He also didn’t know he was killing the kid at the beginning on the story either, but he definitely meant to make sure that he wouldn’t be bullying anyone anymore.
So he wants you to take a loan out using your property as collateral to invest in his business? And if he doesn’t get you the promised return, what do you think happens to your collateral when you can’t pay back your loan?
