I agree with Laticauda, but some ways you could feel more in touch with our community is by looking for regular LGBT meetups in your area. By becoming a regular at one or more and being very open to the others there I will guarantee people will ask for your help. Heck that’s how I really got my transition going was by becoming friends with more trans people at meetups.
Something else you can do in the meantime is hang around our communities on social media, kind of like here and offer advice to those that ask for it. You could even write guides if you feel like it!

It’s been a while since we’ve had a general discussions thread, and with the holiday season ramping up, I imagine a lot of us are feeling very stressed and worn out....
I was looking forward to the holidays, but then my orchi got delayed well into the new year and that’s kind of cascaded everything else. I have a condition that makes things very painful down there and was looking forward to being pain free when I planned to come out to my extended family, and work before the holidays.
With my pain not going to be resolved I don’t really feel like I have the strength to deal with going through with the stress of coming out, though my dysphoria is going bonkers living in the closet. My parents, though “accepting”, are extremely bad about deadnaming and misgendering me and at this point it’s making me consider not visiting at all if that’s how it’ll go.
Sorry for the downer post lol just how it is. I’m sure I’ll be right as rain when I can finally get the stupid operation done

I don’t think you even need to get high. Financially I’m earning the most I ever have. However, emotionally I’m the worst I’ve ever felt. My circumstances should, in theory, mean that I should feel the best I’ve ever felt and yet that isn’t the case.
The reason is pretty simple though, my mental health isn’t being treated with medication right now. I’ve had to accept that for myself, I can’t therapy and self-help my way out of my mental health problems and that medication is the only way for me to continue to survive. Thankfully I’ll be starting again next week and I’m looking forward to feeling good again.

One thing I’ve learned about living well is that there are many many many different aspects and it isn’t just about what you produce in your limited time here. Treating yourself well and with compassion is so important. Taking care of your physical form frees you to live even more well for longer.
The thing that I learned that has had the greatest effect on me is living authentically to myself. When you don’t live authentically, you deny core aspects of your being. Everything you do is a facade regardless of your intentions. Not everyone has this problem, but if you want to know that you’ve lived your life well, this is mandatory.
