I'd say that's still unhealthy because it helps perpetuate the myth that less sleep is a thing to admire. Maybe instead we should start bragging about how much sleep we are getting. As a dad of an 18 month old, I already regularly brag about that to my coworkers who also have little kids.
Yes. This post apocalyptic wasteland in the far future is littered with cans of Monster Energy drink which act as healing potions. So it's not like you can avoid them either.
They have, but it's still nothing compared to the US. I drive a Nissan Qashqai. It's quite a big car in The Netherlands. There are bigger of course (like the big Volvo XC 70 and 90) but I'm definitely on the bigher size on the road. But my car would be tiny in the US. It would be like driving an old Fiat 500 over here.
Still conquering the Old World in "Total War: Warhammer". I'm playing as Dwarves. I killed almost all greenskin tribes and conquered the Badlands. Now turning my attention north to the undead.
Ahhh yes. Lemonparty, Goatse, Tubgirl. Those were the days. I used to be a forum admin back in the day. I banned sooo many people trying to spam that shit.
I grabbed "Total War: Warhammer" in the steam sale last week. I'm about 35 turns in trying to wipe the greenskin scum from my ancestral dwarven lands. I like it so far! I've never played any other Total War games.
This is great news! Isn't this the place where they are trying to eradicate non-native species like rats? I remember seeing a Tom Scott video about that.
Hi! I’m seeking some advice and sanity check on hopping from Ubuntu to Fedora on my personal PC. I’ve been using Ubuntu LTS for almost two years now, switched from Windows and never looked back. But I cannot say I know Linux well. I use my PC for browsing, some gaming with Steam (I have AMD GPU), occasional video editing,...
Why not move to Debian? Ubuntu was born in a time when Debian stable had a really long release cycle and wasn't desktop ready. But times have changed. Debian is a great desktop without all of Canonical's Ubuntu "experiments" like snap.
It's the intolerance paradox in full view. Wilders should have been convicted and jailed years ago. A tolerant society must be fiercly intolerant towards intolerance.
My first RPG was called "Het Oog des Meesters", translated from the original German "Die Schwarze Auge". It was probably pretty bad compared to AD&D but I loved it as a kid. In the one hand I'd love to play it again. On the other hand, playing might ruin my memory of the game. Like rewatching a bad cartoon from your childhood.
I'm debating whether to get "Total War: Warhammer" (just part 1) and/or "V rising". They both appeal to me but I'm a frugal/patient gamer and the deals don't appear to be that special
I always wait a few years before buying a game. It prevents situations like this and saves aot of money to boot. Not just the game price but also because I don't need the highest spec pc
Hi. Apologies if this is not the correct community. It appears that recently my Disney+ on my Samsung TV has started autoplaying the next episode in a series. But in my profile, autoplay has been turned off. Having autoplay off used to work fine but now it started autoplaying again....

I absolutely loved Carmageddon. My PC couldn't really handle it so it would turn into a slide show eith every crash, but I just loved it and didn't care.
Sad thing is WoW could already be that. But because all focus is on the last expansion, the rest of the vast game is basically dead and devoid of players. It's not "World of Warcraft" but "Zone of Warcraft".
Elder Scrolls Online has its fair share of flaws, but the "One Tamriel" update did make all content playable by all players. You see ESO players in every zone, not just in the latest expansion.
Other creative toys/products that come to mind would be, say, Play-Doh as a sort of children’s intro to…Clay, I suppose? But in this vein without being exclusively directed towards children (albeit I imagine many may be)....
I do traditional woodworking as part of a medieval reenactment group. I also like games with basebuiling elements. Valheim, Minecraft, Ark, Conan Exiles, etc.

I picked up Diablo 3 a while ago but didn't really play until now. Finished the campaign, jumped to adventure mode, got my 6 piece set and I'm now grinding for ancients. I just finished a greater rift lvl 100. It's fun so far but I should probably have started a seasonal character instead of a standard. But I'm too lazy to do it all again.
Epic still has to pay the developers even if they give away the game for free. I'm happy to help bleed Epic dry by taking their free games. But I will never ever spend a single cent on their platform.
Yes, but those buyout prices aren't negotiated in a vacuum. When the number of entitlements goes up, studios will demand higher buyout prices. There's a reason free game quality has been lackluster lately. Studios demand a higher buyouts and Epic doesn't want to spend too much money, so they go with smaller titles.
Ridge Racer was awesome and just so much better than the other racing games at the time. Especially when you put the camera just a few inch from the asphalt.
