Resident Evil 7I’ve had this game for a while and finally sat down to play it. The game was amazing from start to finish. It legit had scary moments in the game. There were times where my heart was pounding and I was physically stressed walking through the house. The antagonists were really cool as were the boss fights....
Yes, that was a day one purchase for me. I think the only resident evil games I have not played now are revelations and some of the weird spin-off games. But, I want to give 4 a go before I play those titles.
I have a pretty bad dust allergy, so I avoid electronic exhaust as it’s usually high in dust. But I had to admit the warm air feels good blowing on your face when you are waiting for something to load.
This is a better link, this one actually has the trailer with gameplay footage.
Crazy taxi, jet set radio future, shinobe, streets of rage, and golden axe.
In my opinion none of them look too great from the trailer except jet set radio, but it’s small clips, so I’ll wait for longer trailers to get a better opinion.
I’m an American and I had a pretty decent job out of college and the idea of moving out of my parents house without roommates was impossible. In fact I don’t know a single person who did it.
$5000 might not be life changing for me, but it would take me a really long time to save that much.
Americans have high salaries compared to the rest of the world, but everything is really expensive so things kind of balance out.
One thing to consider is that the higher salaries make it easier to get things like an iPhone or MacBook. But all the things that are needs like housing, food, and a car are almost too expensive to afford.
Most people have a car loan, most people don’t even dream of owning a home any longer. When you see that you will never earn enough for a home, then you don’t really save for it.
When the amount you earn that. An be saved is too little then you don’t really bother with it.
Most Americans do not live nearly as well as it is portrayed on TV or in movies.
update
I’ll add on to this that most Americans have debt for some reason or another besides having a car and house. A lot of people have student debts that are oppressive some people have medical debt as well.
Gas prices are reasonably low, but everything is so far that you end up using a decent amount of gas to get around.
I didn’t read the article, but Apple does advertise a certain level of privacy and security with iMessage. A company getting around that kind of defeats apples “promise”.
So, I don’t blame them for turning it off, but they realistically should bring iMessage to android.
I have about 100gb and growing that is critical for my business. File size growth is slow, so it will be years and years before it even gets to 200gb....
Haha, I never considered that perspective I envy may cats often, but they do freak out at the smallest thing, like one cat is terrified of trash bags, but only when they are empty.

Accidentally wipes out Mint last week, but have been meaning to try out Fedora 39 Plasma. So far, I love it. I have been really busy recently, but it has been a great system so far. My SteamDeck really made me fall in love with Plasma.
A lot of the games you listed would have the same issue on Windows. Additionally it likes like pc-98 can work on Linux.
I don’t see why CD games wouldn’t work on Linux. You can connect a disk drive just like you can in windows. And can then make an iso of the cd for convenience.
One game you listed, Pangaya shutdown.
I’m not saying everything works on Linux, but at this point the large majority does.
Others have pointed out other titles that are pretty popular that don’t work on Linux. So if that game is important to you, I don’t blame you for not using Linux. I use windows for work for the same reason.
Thanks! I was not aware of this. Do you play this game? It looks interesting, but I’m worried it’s a game that will require me to keep paying to progress.
That really depends on the person, for me, it’s a deal breaker. If your game won’t work on Linux, I won’t play it.
Sadly, I don’t have this luxury with my work software. But I’m hopeful that things will change. I could probably make it work if there was just one app that worked on Linux.
Firefox users are reporting an 'artificial' load time on YouTube videos. YouTube says it's part of a plan to make people who use adblockers "experience suboptimal viewing, regardless of the browser they are using."
Video is hard because it requires a lot of space and bandwidth. We really need a storage and/or compression breakthrough.
We also need the internet providers to stop being so stingy with network speeds and bandwidth limits.
Imagine, 100 people trying to load a video from your single hard drive, it’s not fast enough for that. It’s not like a picture where the entire thing can be sent at once. So, it will require a decent tech upgrade across the board before that can be federated successfully.
A large creator could do something like that and invest money into it, but it will still really be controlled by a small group of people.

It’s not too difficult to setup, but I think people don’t realize that even if your not breaking the law, you may still have to deal with charges and going to court for years before your found innocent. All while dealing with the stress of a jury possibly finding you guilty.
Then you have prosecutors offering plea deals, so then you think do I stand my ground and risk X years in jail? Or do I plead guilty and just go to jail for 2 years?
Sure they could, but you are a a bit more anonymous and don’t keeps logs, then there may be nothing to hand over.
Hosting your own vps directly ties internet traffic to you. They can see your ip is part of a swarm and see who owns it. If it’s owned by some guy, they can press you. If it’s owned by a company with a legal team, it’s much more difficult.
