Afaik, all immeadiately dangerous bacteria get killed by cooking. To completely kill the botulism bacteria for example, you’d have to heat it to 120°C, but the botulism bacteria isn’t dangerous, it just produces toxins (that are destroyed at 80°C). The only real concern here are toxin producing bacteria and fungi (that won’t sufficiently reproduce in such a short timespan as is necessary for thawing 1kg of meat). It might be bad if you left it out for longer.

No clue how you got that impression. I suffer from the same second-hand emabarassment as well (which prevents me from enjoying most western ‘look at how stupid and dumb and embarassing the MCs are’-comedies), but its not being triggered in the slightest by her. The interviewees 100% percent know that they’re being fucked with.
It’s different to competetive games mentioned here because a) at least like 70% of guns are competetively viable b) they are all meaningfully different and c) they allow for a wide array of different tactis that makes the game really fun to watch and play. Obviously there is a meta, but that meta changes and encompasses a lot of things.
Those weapons are in the minority though. The real problems only ever happen when valve tries to rebalance shit and accidentally make the game almost unplayable for several months.
