I went to the local bakery/restaurant today and bought 2 cookies at the counter. I paid with a credit card and when it asked if I wanted to tip, I said no. Am I going to hell because of this?

After 16 years of living in my city, they will finally have city-wide fiber internet. I’m pretty stoked because the fastest internet I could possibly have is a WISP at 50gbps down and 10gbps up. Now I will finally have gigabit but it’s through the city, and I’m wondering if they will be more strict on illegal content...
I am indifferent…while I agree that it should be, I think ISPs should be absorbed into the government and made as a service like power/water. I’m sick of the big 2 here raping everyone and acting like it’s our fault that we got raped.
I refuse to get fiber until resellers are allowed to use the infrastructure that the citizens already paid for but is held by a monopoly.
Disney is raking its customers over the coals with a 75% price hike for their annual subscription (originally $80.) People wonder why piracy is on the rise.Multiple commenters are saying I’m off base about the 75% price increase. My payment less than a year ago was $79.99. Here’s the proof.
Lol expect MORE and MORE hikes. They know how much money you have, they want it all and they will not stop raising the cost because y’all keep paying it.

I’m dog sitting a few times a week (same dog), and he loves chewing up cardboard. He doesn’t eat it or anything, just makes a huge mess. He has nylabones and similar chew toys, but he’s not very interested in them. He seems to prefer things he can rip to shreds easily. Any idea what sorts of toys would be a good...
Buy something with feathers. It’s an old hunting instinct to rip and tear things apart. Probably loves birds and the feeling of loose things like feathers in its mouth.
Or, ignore the cardboard completely and look into a snuffle mat. Keep that nose busy sniffing.

I have a switch, I hate the switch controllers so much. Way too damn small. Glad my ps4 controller works on the switch so I can use a normal feeling controller.
I feel like all of the recent updates had this lackluster appeal to them. It might be because I’m outgrown it, but the last big update I felt excited for was the terrain generation one (I think 1.18?). Other than that I can’t really get behind any of them. I mean, archeology sounds cool and all but it doesn’t really feel...
Making it illegal to buy at certain ages has never worked…banning them outright also won’t work. You cannot stop people from doing things, no matter how many words you put on paper.
Has the war on drugs not been a thought to these people? It is useless and does nothing.
It’s true, you can’t stop people from doing what they want to do with laws, but smoking doesn’t smear a child down the street for everyone to see. What a terrible comparison
I am, but it will always go back to the same. You want big daddy to protect you from others doing harm to themselves, whereas I see people being able to police themselves and if they screw up it’s their problem.
You should just buy what you can afford in cash without sacrificing your day to day. No phones are worth high price tags, the industry stagnated and is nothing but paying for buzzwords now
Sounds bad to be so judgemental, but day after day at the park, the most misbehaved dogs tend to be owned by those who sit at dog parks and chat, smoke, bring random lawn chairs etc…...
Actually…this is a good point I never clicked in on before. Thanks.
My husky has amazing recall, she just have a very wide radius that she keeps around me. A good 20-30foot or so. Always comes back when I call. I trained her recall to be a physical touch instead of the usual, come where I can see you. Has its downsides as she says hello by touching human hands and people tend to pull away from a dog mouth…my bad :(
I’ll have to visit our non fenced dog parks more often, thanks again
I don’t even find him to be a good actor, too generic and cookie cutter. Not my cup of tea. I watch movie es to see different characters, not him doing the same thing. He WAS good, but all his more recent stuff is just the same role with a different name.
