There’s fair criticism to be made of Zelensky, I’m sure. However, not holding an election during wartime, which is backed by the constitution and most Ukrainians, is not one of them.

I feel like most people who feel strongly against YouTube will have it set up similarly to where you automatically get redirected when clicking a link anyways. You can always offer up a Piped link in the text box or the comments as an alternative.
On the off chance you aren’t aware, you can export your YT subs and import them into Invidious via a json file.
I still occasionally visit the actual YouTube frontpahe for the algorithm’s suggestions, but all my subscriptions live on Piped, FreeTube, and on my phone, LibreTube.

Eh, the corporate fucks who decide to make websites this way, I agree with you, but the truth is most people who put up with it just don’t have the faintest idea of how computers work. You’d bring up DNS filtering and custom adblock filter lists and their eyes would glaze over.
Seriously, it’s a game. There’s no wrong way to play if you’re having fun. One time I got stoned and zoned out to the start menu of ATV Off-Road Fury 2 for 30 minutes, it was one of the best gaming experiences of my life.
I’m usually against standalone apps for websites, but YouTube is one I definitely use enough to justify it, and Google seems intent on making the experience as miserable as possible. I use LibRedirect to send my browser to Piped instances, but FreeTube is much better for keeping track of my subscriptions.
Or get a Pixel and install GrapheneOS on it! It’s nice to feel in control of my phone. Almost every app on my device is open source (with the exception of Instagram and FB Messenger, sadly my social circles use these exclusively to communicate) and for those closed-sourced, sketchy apps, I can set which permissions they have super easily.

The way it generally works here as per my friends on hormones is you get a letter of recognition from a WPATH-certified mental health professional, and then get a referral to an endocrinologist via your family doctor. Navigating the NB healthcare system sucks for everyone, but trans patients are even more limited.
I’m glad to hear there’s another avenue for people other than waiting to see an endocrinologist (they have pretty long wait lists here) but from what I can gather you still need a referral from another healthcare professional, contrary to Clinic 554 which did do self-referrals.
