I’m curious what people here listen to, and I’m also looking for new ones to check out. I’m personally a big fan of Linux Unplugged, MBMBaM, Lateral, and Twenty Thousand Hertz!...
I agree, however they also don't allow sideloading as far as I know. I think there's a distinction between policing whats on your store, and what users can install from anywhere.
I heard someone said that, at the end EV will cost you almost the same as gasoline vehicle, if you have to change the expensive battery every so often. Can someone please give me more info on this? Thank you so much.
Ah completely forgot about regenerative braking! I thought the main reason it needed changed was due to age and water absorbance rather than usage though, but again if regenerative brakes are used heavily then the regular brakes losing a little efficiency is a lot less of a deal.
I’ve gone on medication that makes drinking kind of problematic, but I really love beer of all kinds, IPAs, sours, etc. I like flavorful and varied beers. I’d like to try some interesting non-alcoholic options. What is your favorite non-alcoholic beer?
Seriously? I didn't know it was anywhere near that low. That's great assuming they haven't just replaced it with gas or something similar, although gas is supposed to be better than coal.
In a lot of places the internet is there, but realistically the public transport never will be. It would cost so much to provide a service in every rural area that 3 people use that its totally infeasible. I think this is the situation where cars make sense, for people where public transport isn't a realistic option.
I get that some instances use the domain + TLD to make a word, like lemm.ee or to an extent, sh.itjust.works. But I’ve seen so many TLDs I had no idea existed, like .world, .zone, .social, and yes .works as well....
Because the manual transmission changes the entire experience of driving it, whereas a manual choke or ignition only changes starting it.
Some people (including myself) just find it more enjoyable to drive a manual. I feel more connected to the car, like its doing exactly what I want it to, and I feel like I've done something when I've driven home rev matching gears perfectly.
It's just about preference at the end of the day, but I do find manuals more fun.
Personally I think the only thing that makes sense is consistency, either White/Black or white/black, that way everyone's equal. To me it doesn't matter which, so long as it's consistent.
Honestly, I disagree about cheap android phones being shite. I have a redmi note 10 pro and it genuinly is a very impressive phone especially for the money. I bought it new when it came out and it wasn't expensive at all.
I find this mildly infuriating, I only use Windows for work, I even personally purchased Windows 11. Local account and disabled as much as I could. I personally do not like Windows or Windows in general....
I have a dell laptop. Barrel charging port, but the USB-C port will charge it too... Just very slowly with a 33W phone charger instead of the 130W laptop charger.
Rather annoyingly NI (where I'm from) didn't vote to leave, but its affecting us the worst (and sort of best) by far. A lot of Unionists won't accept being treated differently to the rest of the UK, and won't accept any kind of even theoretical border in thr Irish sea.
However we cannot have a border at all across Ireland. Funny enough the solution was an area of free movement, trade, and common laws.
Thatcher outlawed this (surprise, surprise) but thr way Japanese train drivers strike is they run the trains but refuse to collect fairs. That seems like a much better system to me.
I don't know how doctors could do something similar though.
I want to use F-Droid to download as many apps as possible for my phone, the only thing is I seem to have consistent issues with them. The ones that come to mind from the last week are as follows. They worked when installed from google play (irritatingly)...
I'll try this when I'm going to be in my car again. Thank you very much though, the android auto was what was actually stopping me from using the F-droid version!
Not sure how many people were suffering from it, but Google Photos became adamant about pushing ads. I couldn’t find a replacement in Google Store which wasn’t doing the same. Downloaded F Droid, used alternative to website to find apps, downloaded and now the problem is solved. You can use Google Files to install the F...
My banking app (when I had a rooted phone, but even with an unlocked bootloader only this was a problem) even when hidden by magisk wouldn't work. It told me to unroot it and lock the bootloader.
What would the average skin tone and facial features look like after 300 years if every partner relationship was interracial until there were no other ethnicities? Just a hodgepodge of DNA. What would the average human look like having a little bit of everything in them?...
No, that's why I said general. For example people from Europe tend to have lighter skin, Scandinavian people tend to have lighter hair, African people tend to have coarser hair.
Oh I'm not particularly informed on any of this because I don't really care tbh, but I though race was where you (and your ancestors) are from as opposed to skin colour?

Back on the old Bloodborne. I meant to finish it years ago, but ran out of time with exams so restarted just there with a brand new save. Loving it so far although I'm not too far into it.
We're not particularly rich, but my mum had never taken a loan before and when she was trying to get a phone contract, a company told her she couldn't get a contract with them because of this.

About electric vehicle. If you add the maintenance cost for battery, how does it fair compare to gasoline vehicle? On cost we have to pay.
