    They have those panel doohickeys where it’ll fold your stuff for you, kind of. Something like this.

    I swear I have seen a machine, but it was super expensive and I think you had to give I it clothes in a certain way. At that point I think I would just fold them myself.
    I wanted to just give it a laundry basket and let it go to work.

    Any specific reason you like Firefox OS? I messed around with it a bit on an older Motorola phone several years ago but don’t recall a lot of unique features

    I’m just increasingly grumpy that my OS and my hardware aren’t my own anymore. It’s all removed features, unsupported apps, changes made “for your convenience,” rent-seeking, tracking profiles, incessant ads, “please use our app”… I don’t really use any apps that don’t have functional websites, so all I really need my phone to be is a phone app, a camera, and a browser.

    I guess that might be right. As of today, the iPad Pro is basically a laptop when attached to the magic keyboard. It only has a single thunderbolt port but can connect to an external display with caveats. Apple scuppers the experience by forcing you to have the iPad display open when connected to the monitor. I’m essentially looking for an experience like Samsung Dex where I get a desktop experience when docked - but a portable experience when on the go. I’m sure they could easily do this but choose not to in order too avoid eating into MacBook sales.

    An Android phone with a decent processor, one decent camera on the back (no front facing), a 1440p 5.5" OLED screen, a headphone jack, and long term update support for a reasonable price.
