Amazon and Games Workshop have signed a full agreement to make TV shows and movies based on Warhammer 40,000. It may be a few years before you see those on the big or small screen, but Henry Cavill is on board as an executive producer.
Just as long as they remember it's satire, and the Imperium are not good guys (and nor is anyone else). Maybe they can remind Games Workshop of that too

Search for creative commons or public domain artwork - Wikimedia Commons is a good start, or a google image search (under the image search bar select tools -> usage rights -> creative commons rights)
Or don't worry about the copyright issues of AI and learn to use that to create things you want - I suggest SDXL is the best option
I use servers extensively, for several communities (some small like my weekly RPG game servers and my book club, some much bigger like the AI art servers I'm on), all of which have multiple channels which are used for different things. Correct me if I'm wrong but afaik Signal (and Molly which I'd previously not heard of) doesn't do that
It being closed source is unfortunate, not being very privacy friendly is certainly not good but I don't think there have been any major leaks have there?

It might have been nice if he had worked out literally anything on his own, but as everything else about the film except Colin Firth's Penguin (who was only in it briefly) was dire I don;t think could have saved it
Running Manjaro here. I'm been using Linux exclusively for years, and while I'm not a power user I like to think I'm conversant with it. I've had the odd problem here or there, but honestly not any more than I would expect with any other distro. I picked it because I wanted a rolling release distro that used KDE, and SuSE Tumbleweed didn't want to install that day!
I mean, I'm not arguing for private companies, but our government is quite spectacularly inefficient at anything except generating prime ministers! Mind you, they may be trying to be worse than the private sector so they cna claim the private sector is more efficient than the government, I guess...
They're doing their best to deal with that small issue, in between ruining everything else. The other side are also crap but are objectively better at everything except number of prime ministers and amount of harm done to the country
I’m getting really tired of my food expiring before I make anything with it, and I want to quit buying anything that can’t be frozen or last several months in the cupboard.
Stick the water and frozen stuff in a pan and bring to the boil, stick the rice in and bring back to the boil with the lid on, boil for one minuite and turn the hob off/take off the heat and don't move the lid. Don't touch it for fifteen minuites. Fluff and serve
There are a few but we must assume all cops are bastards as a matter of self defence because the consequences of being wrong about it are atrocious. But you know that, don't you?
Any individual cop may prove they specifically are not bad right now, but keep your guard up because it only takes a bad day to change that, and/or the system and constant exposure to bad cops and stupid laws and criminals to grind them down
I'm currently playing through Shadowrun : Hong Kong and really enjoying it. I'm not sure why I bounced off the first time, I played and enjoyed Shadowrun: Dragonfall and Shadowrun Returns but Hong Kong just did not click with me the first two times I tried
I also realised that the Shadowrun games (Returns, Dragonfall, and Hong Kong) might scratch that itch - the setting is a cyberpunk/fantasy mashup, and the game play is similar isometric point and click until you get into combat when it becomes isometric turn based tactical. I was recommended to start with Dragonfall
ebooks. I read better with a back light, I have found, and generally read with light text on a dark background, both of which my tablet makes really easy
Snyder's films were crap tho, and he didn't understand the characters - you can't deconstruct Superman and Batman if you don't understand Superman and Batman. Plus the lighting and pacing were awful. That's why they got shat on
Yes. The idea that he wasn't real is frankly laughable. We know where he lived, we know who his wife was and what she was left in his will (their second best bed!), he met the queen for crap's sake!
Yeah, KDE is just better in so many ways. When gnome launched kde was built on a not-fully-open-source library, but then they fully open sourced QT, and that was decades ago so now there is no excuse!
I'm not really that keen on computer RPGs like Mass Effect or Dragon Age, but did rather like Shadowrun: Dragonfall. Am I likely to like much in this bundle?
If I want the handle fizz I’ll pay about $10 if someone wants to pay more then they want it more than me.
No, if someone is willing to pay more than you they may want it less but also value their money less because they have a lot of it, or they may think they can use it to make more money than you are willing to pay for it. capital=power, not desire
