A Florida Republican lawmaker's bill declares showing support for LGBTQ people is a "political viewpoint," despite the existence of LGBTQ Democrats, Republicans, independents, and entirely unaffiliated and non-political LGBTQ people. The goal of GOP State Rep. It’s not intended to stick around. It’s red meat for the base. “Look, see, we’re TRYING to fight the WOKE agenda, but the DEEP STATE is just too powerful! The only way to SAVE YOUR CHILDREN is to help us remove all potential checks and balances to our complete authority.”
Bruh, people still think 5G is gonna either give them cancer or turn them into zombies. They’ll think 6G will cause their head to explode ala Scanners or open a demonic portal to hell.
Edit for those curious why I shared this: Today !memes was popping off with a lot of “No war but class war” memes and they were getting a lot of support from the people over there....
Yeah, their version of “Stop the culture war” isn’t “Stop attacking vulnerable groups and focus on the bigger threat” it’s “Stop fighting back and let us destroy these vulnerable groups and focus on those people instead”. It’s just an attempt to distract.

Also by draining wealth from poorer countries. Banana Republics in Central America. The constant pro-american coups in South America. The plantations of Liberia that used essentially slave labor to harvest rubber.
My significant other ate cucumbers and onion with some ranch. I called it a cucumber onion salad. She says there aren’t enough ingredients to call it a salad, because “it takes multiple ingredients”. I pointed out she had three and asked what the minimum is. She refuses to answer so I ask Lemmy.
The thought came to mind after reading a recent post about Baldurs Gate 3 here but it reminded me of the Japense only PSX game Mizzurna Falls where if you don’t perform a certain action early in the game you are prevented from getting a true ending. While this might not be a traditional soft lock because you can still progress...
I like the Unstable Ordinance from Space Quest IV that you can pick up near the start of the game. It’s entirely useless, you can’t ditch it, and if you have in your inventory near the end of the game, it blows up and kills you. Everytime. You have to restart nearly the whole game and resist the adventure game urge to grab everything that isn’t nailed down.
OkBuddyPersona has breached containment, I repeat, OkBuddyPersona has breached containment. This is not a drill. Report to your designated response area.
Imagine your example of an empty window frame, but in an empty void, with no points of reference other than the important objects. You could see this interaction in two ways. The frame moves towards the people, around the people, and then away from the people or the people move towards the frame, through the frame, and than away from the frame. This is the same interaction. It does not matter which is “moving”, either one results in the same interaction.
In this portal case, you combine the two methods of observing the interaction. The portal moves towards the people. The people go through the portal. The interaction now says the portal moves away from the people, but this second portal is stationary. So you flip how you look at it. The portal now “moves” away from the people by the people moving away from the portal.
