If you are poor you live in a neighborhood where everyone is poor and since everyone is poor there isn’t enough money to invest in the neighborhood. So these neighborhoods are neglected. And so it happens that many migrants who came to France and Western Europe as a whole were poor. Since Western Europe wanted cheap labor. Sweden has the same problems as France with their migrants. At least that open office has carpet. I’ve seen open offices with concrete or tile floors and walls. Those kind of offices are hell to be in. If a small group starts talking that sounds bounces around the room and then everyone has to talk louder because they can’t hear each other. The old center that was built before cars is only a part of the city. The rest of the city has been built with car traffic in mind. The problem is more that it is too crowded.
