My account and posts from my previous tomato cube mold designs from Printables got taken down (probably VPN and/or Linux usage). Nevertheless, I found a better platform on Thangs.com. The search is much better and it searches other platforms as well as its own website....
Trying to reduce the amount of constant maintenance the my ender 3 printers require and one of the biggest issues i’m having is a buildup of sticky residue inside the ptfe tube inside the hotend/ptfe tube. It’s not leaking as i visually inspect before cleaning and i can see where the tube connects and there’s a clear line...
Hi everyone, I figured I have struggled with this enough over the past day and its time to consult the community. I’ve been running this same setup for about a month now with the only major change in that time being implementing the input shaping. Recently (last week) I have been unable to complete any prints because every...
Anyone have any solutions for this issue? You’d think it would just bridge over the entire hole, don’t know why it’s doing this. We’re at 195mm height here and I’d rather not run a support the entire height of the model just for this little nub....
Recently did a test print with Creality Pla-wood. The smell during the print is amazing, I’m kind of hooked. I printed something flat, was easy to sand and stain looks incredible, 100% looks like wood. It’s been 48h and no matter how much I wipe the thing it’s still tacky / leaves a little residue on my hands. Do I just...
As the title says. I’m new to 3d printing and I’m looking for tips on how make two parts fit together nicely. I’ve read 0.4mm clearance between the two parts modelled together is a nice rule of thumb.
Hi everybody? I live in Norway and I find it really difficult to buy color changing silica gel balls here. I want to use it to keep and control better my filament rolls while they are stored and also to the AMS on my Bambu X1C. The only alternative I found is on Aliexpress, just a 500gr bottle. I was wondering if anybody else...
I recently had two print failures on my Ender 3 Neo. In both, it looked like the part came free from the heated build plate after about an hour or so of printing. Both had good starts in the first 15 minutes or so. I had a successful print finish two days ago....
Edit: Fixed by replacing the main board. I probably could have just added a BLTouch which was considered, but the USB port was unusable and I need that. I’m keeping the old board to mess around with it for later though. Possible good learning experience to be had....
