Is there a viable method or company to recycle failed prints or prototypes? I’ve been keeping all of my PETG stuff in a box, still a way to go before it’s full but was curious if anyone had any experience here whether it be something diy or shipping them to a company.
Hi everyone, I’m extremely new to 3d printing, and have taken over a printer from a friend who doesn’t use his. I’m trying to get those smooth prints I see people having, and I understand I need to get a smaller layer height to achieve the details. However my stuff keeps coming out looking like the pictures below....

With the k1, Bambu labs, and prusa xl all coming out I’m really starting to look at my 3 year old SK-GO as “slow”. Do you think it’s worth waiting for awhile and seeing if the competition heats up more or should I just pull the trigger on one of the current high speed machines

My ender 3 v2 extruder is crushing the filament and snaps thus the printer fails to print. I have adjusted the extruder tension, nothing has changed. I also upgraded to a 0.6 hardend steel nozzle and I checked if it was the nozzles temperature, that made no difference.
I homebrew beer, and I get my bottles by de-labeling stuff I buy. However, I tend to forget what state they’re in so I designed my own label holder with slide in labels. Cardboard boxes hold bottles well, but they’re not see thru. Now I know! STL: www.printables.com/…/562504-hanging-sign-clips
I’ve been doing 3d printing with PLA/PETG/ABS for about 10 years and I’m looking to try resin. I’m not all that familiar with the workflow besides knowing it’s UV cured. Is all curing done in the same machine? What are the reputable brands? What kind of build volumes are available?
I was playing with my POP2 3D scanner, scanned this toy fish of my kid’s and 3D printed the resulting scan. I had to manually draw the spots on it, but really happy with how it turned out. Pictures don’t do it justice just how exactly the same they are in hand. Not all of the textures came through though.
Is this beyond the pale? Recently got a Neptune 3 pro and have been having issues. Anyone have some tips? Is this resolvable? Can a bed for these be replaced?...
0.6 nozzle and still got decent detail. Ive been having a ton of fun and productivity with the big nozzle but can’t wait to go back to 0.4 which I haven’t used in a long time, or to try out the 0.2
I have a model I want to print that has multiple layers of internal walls. They are useless and can’t be seen in the finished product, like a hollow cylinder inside another hollow cylinder....
My Voxelab Aquila came with a standard glass printbed. So far I thought I had no issues. Recently I thought I will printing PETG a try. Result -> no chance to get that print from the bed without damaging one of both (of course I let I cool down first). But even before I had more and more adhesion problems. So after a few friends...
It however does not have issues maintaining the temperature when it’s not actually printing. I can set my hotend to 215 before beggining my print and it’s happy to sit there....
