I’m currently printing a thing with black PLA and it might not be enough. Can I put black PETG in there when it runs out and continue like nothing happened? I’d adjust the nozzle temperature, of course.

I’ve already switch from Cura to PrusaSlicer to SuperSlicer and get back to PrusaSlicer (organic support is a must). With all the bambu hype, I can’t find a comparison beetween PrusaSlicer and OrcaSlicer (pros and cons). Feel free to comment !

I have some Fiberology PA12+CF15 blend (link) from a long time ago and recently got around to using it. I am amazed to say the least! It prints easier than PETG, even without an enclosure. I’ve got an esun dryer box, it seems to be working ok (it gets hot, fan works, it stays on for several hours) but I don’t seem to be able to get it to actually successfully dry my filament....

I know that paint doesn’t work well with TPU and that the typical way to color a piece is with dye. Does anyone have experience decorating prints that will see heavy use? Like if I wanted to use multiple colors, can dyes be brushed on similar to how one might hand paint a model? Is there a better way to do what I want?

SOLVED The serial settings are fine, I just had the wrong display type defined in the firmware. I’m a very paranoid person apparently....

I’m looking to print large-scale prints using ASA and other unsafe materials, so ideally I need something that has an enclosure or can be enclosed easily, but I’d rather buy something preassembled or partially-assembled as I don’t have time to build a RatRig.
