I’m planning to put Navidrome on a Raspberry Pi in order to manage and consume my music collection, however I’ve realized that all my ratings are stored in-file and given that Navidrome is multi-user, I’m wondering how that works? Will I be able to preserve my ratings? Will Navidrome even pick them up?

This always puzzled me. Why don’t humans act much more aggressive or crazed like its often depicted with animals. Afaik there’s 2 types of rabies, “dumb” and “furious” so my question is more towards the 2nd type. For example, we never hear of rabies causing a human to accidentally bite another human so why is that?

As I watch The Internet look like it’s starting to adopt a new phase (let’s call it federation writ large), I’m watching for signs of both success and struggle. I have some strong opinions of features and functionality lacking in the current suite of UIs that might help adoption, but thing I’ve been thinking about more...
I have “show read posts” unchecked, so I shouldn’t see them. I can still see them. I didn’t see them yesterday, when lemm.ee was 0.18. I do see them today after 0.19 update. I’ve toggled it on, saved, then off, saved. Still seeing read posts.
I use Firefox and uBlock Origin. Not sure what kind of experience anyone else is having with YouTube, but recently my home page has been empty because I “don’t have watch history turned on”. Okay, fine. I won’t be able to browse suggested videos, and I’ll spend less time on their platform....
