Love love loved my steam controller. I wish I bought 50 when they were 5 bucks.

The deck doesn’t feel right in my hands, im glad I was able to sit down and use one before I spent the money.

I would love a Steam Controller 2.0, or even just another run of the original.

Something about the travel of the analog sticks was immediately and immensely off putting to me. Not the feel of the plastic surface that your thumbs rest on, but the physical feedback of moving the sticks.

I dunno it’s parhaps a nitpick but I went from ‘holy shit I need this’ to ‘eh it’s a cool device’ within 30 minutes of play time.

How often to you bail on a half-written post or response?

I have had a tendency since my earliest days on social media where I will get halfway or more through a response, and end up just cancelling it. Sometimes I feel like I’m just being to over the top with snark or otherwise don’t want to be that kind of person, but a lot of the time I’ll decide I just really don’t care...

sparky678348,

I care what you say ❤️

You, yes you reading this, have a valid perspective and a unique insight and the world is enriched by you sharing your thoughts with other strangers.

Goated

This list might have been true 10 years ago

You’re absolutely right, 4chan had the sauce back in the day.

Now it’s just sad.

How often do you use "AI" to reply to your messages, if at all?

The recent chat bot advances have pretty much changed my life. I used to get anxiety by receiving mails and IMs, sometimes even from friends. I lost friendships over not replying. My main issue being that I am sometimes get completely stuck in a loop of how to formulate things in the best way to the point of just abandoning the...

sparky678348,

Better yet, yell into the cloud, let an LLM respond

sparky678348,

Wait it’s large language models? I thought it was language learning models

sparky678348,

No the milkers are the titties, they were trying to be clever.

sparky678348,

No it was a stretch, I’ll let this one pass

sparky678348,

Threads is a wonderful platform, there and here.

sparky678348,

If you were seeing Middle East arguments that’s your algo, I get video games and anime and book content mostly.

I didn’t hear about it not joining the Fediverse? That’s a shame.

Twitter never clicked with me, I probably spent a cumulative 3 hours or less on Twitter over the last decade. Threads on the other hand, I immediately understood it and enjoyed it in a way that Twitter made impossible.

sparky678348,

You might be shocked how quickly you get used to reading on your phone. A nice epub reader (I recommend a nice app called FB reader) + libgen and you’re golden.

I also have a nice 7-in tablet that I got for reading, one of Samsung’s non-flagships. I use my phone more out of pure convenience, but I have definitely put my hours in on both. Usually I’ll load up a book I’m reading on both and kinda go back and forth.

sparky678348,

Stress levels effecting health and targeted violence are what I assume theyre talking about

sparky678348,

Jay is a person, and the picture that was written on invokes the same feeling that this Jay does, the picture is Jay AF.

sparky678348,

BAR is a fun game and I love any attempts to revive this dying genre

sparky678348,

My phone’s hardware is more stacked than my PC at this point and that blows me away

sparky678348,

I like the best of both worlds pun, but what the fuck are you even talking about here?

sparky678348,

What I’m saying is that’s not relevant, Hannah Montana and Taylor Swift are two different human beings who went on two different journeys that happened to be at the same time. If you’re just saying the world was ready for some children pop stars then I guess it’s hard to argue with that.

sparky678348,

And that’s the climb

sparky678348,

It would be annoying to see repeat posts, this is people’s main complaint. In my opinion this could be fixed with a tab system that takes you between comments sections of posts of the same URL on different instances.

This feels like the best of both worlds.

sparky678348,

Yes TikTok is a disease and I have it.

sparky678348,

Lemmy is exclusively conspiracy nuts I think, that’s the impression I’m starting to get

sparky678348,

That’s an incredible statistic. Where did you learn that?

sparky678348,

Presumably they’re talking about finding search results that are relevant and helpful, perhaps specifically what they’re looking for.

I have given other search engines a fair shake repeatedly but only Google hooks me up right.

sparky678348,

I’m not sure how to give specific examples other than saying Google knows what the fuck I’m talking about when bing or duck duck go fail me

sparky678348,

If your asking me to switch over to a search engine that I don’t enjoy using so that I can go find a specific proof for you about why I like Google more, than I implore you to fuck off.

sparky678348,

Oh okay so even in the face of someone’s actual use case you explain why it doesn’t count, non-anonymity and tracking people, you’re a fucking joke.

Searching for a location you’re going to go to for directions/location is a perfectly conventional search.

Why are you on Lemmy sucking off bing? Are you getting Microsoft paychecks?

sparky678348,

Clicker heros is old school at this point but still a legendary experience

Younger users of Lemmy: Did you ever love a game that you just really sucked at?

So I was watching a few youtubes and remembered how the vast majority (of like the ten) nes games me and my sister had were hard as all hell. I loved to play Little Nemo and Street Fighter 2010 but I am pretty sure I never made it past the third level of either. Let alone infamously hard games like The Lion King....

sparky678348,

League of Legends

Damn that shit is hard

sparky678348,

You’re talking about moving a window to the side to make it take up half of your display?

sparky678348,

I’m not sure what behavior I’m missing, I’m playing around with this steam window and can’t find it. It snaps to the edge but not in the windows way?

sparky678348,

LMAO this guy has an itchy asshole

sparky678348,

I on the other hand wish you a bidet and more fiber.

sparky678348,

I am Ken-fused about what’s going on in this thread, but I’m reluct-Ken-t to be the one to break the pattern.

sparky678348,

That was my first thought too, be careful what you wish for.

sparky678348,

This and Steven Universe for me.

sparky678348,

I’m curious if that’s based on truth or just yeehaw gottem

sparky678348,

Those car free streets are the best streets. I’ve always said they should just crack down in NYC and go full car ban overnight no warning

sparky678348,

You say that, and then you link concept art of wii u gamepad?

sparky678348,

That’s really cool tbh, I love crazy mockups like this

sparky678348,

This is my thought too.

Being the bigger person is all well and good but sometimes petty revenge hits different.
