simple,

Oooh, nice! I knew they were adding activitypub support but I didn’t realize it was happening so soon.

simple,

RISCV would definitely be nicer but it’s just a little early for it. Qualcomm have been using arm for ages so no doubt they’re going to be more comfortable using that architecture compared to something that still doesn’t have any support. It’s going to take a while.

simple,

FEX-Emu is basically that. They’re still in an early state but they showed Sonic Mania running perfectly a few days ago.

I’m honestly placing my bets that Qualcomm Oryon (their next chips intended for PCs) will massively shake the handheld and laptop industry next year. It feels like nobody’s trying for ARM desktop chips outside of Apple and there’s huge potential there.

simple,

I’m currently on my 2nd playthrough looking for all the records. Lies of P is pretty darn good and it’s the only non-fromsoftware souls like I enjoyed, and I’ve played a lot. The bosses in particular are really great and most of them are memorable.

I’m a bit bummed at what you have to do to get the real ending, I feel like it’s kind of a betrayal of Pinocchio’s main theme, but I understand what they were going for.

I’m pretty hopeful for Lords of the Fallen but from the previews I’ve seen it’s a little… Clunky. I hope it plays better than it looks.

simple,

Game boy color over game boy advance? How on earth?

simple,

It’s actually insane that they got almost 400 million requests per second and still managed to stay online. I have to remind myself sometimes of how big Google really is.

simple,

Tetris Effect was pretty nice though

simple,

Aside from what everyone else is saying, Egypt is on the verge of economic collapse. People are poor and the Egyptian Pound is losing all of its value, even if we do open our borders Egypt won’t be able to provide any kind of support to them.

simple,

The facial interface is lined with a foam padding that will absorb your sweat like a sponge, that’s a sanitation issue because the padding isn’t removable

I thought the padding around the eyes being removable was standard, this will wear over time and smell like sweat every time someone puts on the headset. Eugh.

It’s owned by Meta so I’ll never buy it but still, that’s a weird oversight.

simple,

Github is the industry standard. It’s easy to use and is packed with features, it’s also quite flexible in how much it provides for free.

Codeberg is a github clone but open source and nonprofit. People are weary that github is owned by Microsoft so if you’re a privacy conscious person that likes open source, it’s a good option.

I’ve never used Gitlab but from what I’ve heard it’s more enterprise oriented, focused on providing solutions for companies rather than something simple for everyone.

simple,

He’s very edgy, I don’t like his content. If I want someone to talk about tech, I’d rather they just talk about tech and not make wojack thumbnails and constantly making fun of politics.

simple,

I blocked it ages ago so I don’t get notifications every time I post a video.

I don’t understand why they ever stopped. Rayman Legends was amazing, and wasn’t it a big success? They keep porting it everywhere but I’d really love a sequel.

simple,

I doubt it’s stable, it’s a very experimental project. It’s best that you get a light Linux distro if you’re looking for something like that.

simple,

Awesome, I actually replayed a few of the flash games last year. The submachine series holds up really well, glad to see it get revived.

simple,

Good. Facebook tried so hard to be the leading VR company and it would’ve been terrible if they succeeded.

simple,

Decent deal. I highly recommend The Evil WIthin 2 if you’re a fan of survival horror.

simple,

If I were to buy a handheld I’d probably get either the Steam Deck or something like an ayaneo. The legion pro looks MASSIVE, I can’t imagine it would be comfortable to play on or move around with.

simple,

Look on the bright side, it’s going to be easy to clean up after murdering the guy who made it

simple,

Oh wow I thought it was an update, but it’s a new game. Neat, the world needs more co-op roguelikes.

simple,

The Next mode simplifies Bottles usage significantly. There won’t be individual bottle management; Bottles will create and manage a single bottle, leaving users with the task of installing and running the software they need. The Next bottle will use a layering concept to isolate applications, dependencies, and configurations. This means that the underlying wineprefix will be the same, but each application will have its settings (DXVK, VKD3D, FSR, desktop resolution, environment variables, launch options, dependencies, etc.). This minimizes the risk of bottle breakage to just external interferences.

This is cool! I’ve always been a Heroic launcher fan, but this update would make me switch. The UI also looks very sweet. Shame it’s s few months away, but I’m greatly looking forward to it.

simple,

They went bankrupt ages ago, got recently picked up by another company and revived, and now it seems like they’re going under again. Nobody really knows what’s happening behind the scenes but as the tweet says, seems like they’re all under NDA.

simple,

They did release a game for The Expanse recently, but it didn’t seem to do too well.

simple,

To be fair the entire tech industry too is getting hammered. Times are hard on smaller companies, and it doesn’t seem to be getting better. I’m hearing about layoffs every few days now.

simple,

Literally the only thing I know about this movie is that the main character is gay, Disney really tried to make that a selling point.

simple,

Apparently we’re not missing much.
