sangriaferret,

Well, there are a brazillion of them.

sangriaferret,

Blue is good but purple is where it’s at.

sangriaferret,

Try changing the gasket as another poster suggested.

sangriaferret,

Aha. Innovation. I like it.

sangriaferret,

Woody: It always made me sad to think of what Mom gave up for us.

Diane: What was your mom’s dream?

Woody: To be a drummer in a power trio.

sangriaferret,

Absolutely. It’s pretty easy to digest when the songs are only a minute long.

sangriaferret,

Top: I’m kinda at a loss here, I can’t think of a band that makes you want to kill but has songs that both do and don’t go hard.

Coil

sangriaferret,

I held out on a smartphone for a long time because I loved my Alias so much. That keyboard thing was cool as fuck.

sangriaferret,

Spotify has a thumbs down button?

sangriaferret,

This is why TBS always started programs at five past the half hour. When the program was finished you would have missed the first five minutes of any program on another network thus encouraging you to stay tuned to TBS .

sangriaferret,

They don’t own it anymore. It’s changed hands a few times but no one wants to make any investment into developing there. It’s too much work and the risks are to great.

sangriaferret,

I knew it was up for sale but I didn’t know somebody had bought it.

I looked up what they had planned for the development and it’s absolutely insane. I’ll be shocked if this ever really gets off the ground especially for the budget and timeline they’ve given.

Plus, they’re asking for $100 mil in government funds. If you know anything about New Orleans politics be this will definitely end up in someone’s pockets. This whole thing reeks of grift. Hopefully I’m wrong because that area definitely needs help in turning around.

sangriaferret,

This is the first joke on this community that actually made me laugh. Congratulations.

Report: Amazon made $1B with secret algorithm for spiking prices Internet-wide (arstechnica.com)

Last week, the Federal Trade Commission sued Amazon, alleging that the online retailer was illegally maintaining a monopoly. Much of the FTC’s complaint against Amazon was redacted, but The Wall Street Journal yesterday revealed key details obscured in the complaint regarding a secret algorithm. The FTC alleged that Amazon...

sangriaferret,

Nope. Pre coffee math in my head. My bad. Still a lot of fucking money though.

sangriaferret,

Those actually all sound pretty reasonable. Basically don’t interfere with or inconvenience people in public areas.

sangriaferret,

Trump himself has been doing that for years. A large amount of “Trump” properties only lease the name.

sangriaferret,

Wasn’t Russia able to block traffic from Tor?

sangriaferret,

Fuuuuck that sounds amazing

sangriaferret,

I’ve seen the Arkestra several times with Marshal Allen but I never got to see the man himself.

Ha, yeah I could see SY not translating to an outdoor performance.

sangriaferret,

This is exactly what they will think. Remember during the 2016 campaign when the left was angry at him for not paying taxes? The right wing masses said they thought it was smart. They think cheating the system is a good thing. Except when someone on welfare does it. Then we have to dismantle the whole system.

sangriaferret,

Sounds right out of a Martin Amis novel.

sangriaferret,

As a teenager a friend and I made up some excuse to sneak away from the adults to go get high. One of the adults knowingly mimed smoking a joint to us.

“How did you know,” we asked.

“I’ve been 16. You’ve never been 40,” he said.

sangriaferret,

Oh, south Louisiana is infested with murderous feral hogs too.

sangriaferret,

There’s really no stopping them.

sangriaferret,

My girlfriend’s dad ran a waterbed store. He sold drugs.

sangriaferret,

I’m not sure. I can write to him in prison and ask.

Army Corps of Engineers to barge 36 million gallons of freshwater a day as saltwater intrusion threatens New Orleans-area drinking water (www.cnn.com)

The US Army Corps of Engineers is planning to barge 36 million gallons of freshwater daily into the lower Mississippi River near New Orleans as saltwater intrusion from the Gulf of Mexico continues to threaten drinking water supply, officials said Friday....

sangriaferret,

New Orleans…invest in infrastructure

Hahahahaggh! Whew. Good one.

sangriaferret,

We need to do away with the fucking Senate.

sangriaferret,

Like, potato chips or french fries?

sangriaferret,

What is your sodium intake like? Are you retaining all of that water?

sangriaferret,

I really like this one. Bonus points for Exuma.

sangriaferret,

Me too. I initially thought it said “cat sex.”

sangriaferret,

I thought it was a throw rug covering the stairs and the evil part was it slipping when you tried to walk down them .

sangriaferret,
sangriaferret,

Probably. I doubt there’s a lot of skilled octobass players out there. Shit, I doubt there’s a lot of octobasses out there period.

sangriaferret,

These policies are riddled with discrimination and hypocrisy. These extremists need two face reality and put a freeze on them.

sangriaferret,

r/obscuremedia was one of my favorite Reddit subs. There are communities on .world and kbin but they never took off.

sangriaferret,

Thank you! I need to start pulling my weight.

sangriaferret,

Hear me out… use tofu instead of ricotta. I’m not even slightly vegan and I come from an Italian American family that takes lasagna seriously but I made it for my vegetarian ex and it was delicious.

sangriaferret,

Yeah, I live in a major U.S. city and there’s chickens roaming the streets of my neighborhood regularly.

sangriaferret,

Not quite as extreme but Joan Miro lit a series of his paintings on fire.

‘I have burned these canvases as another way of saying shit to all of those people who say that these canvases are worth a fortune.’

sangriaferret,

I’ll have refreshments waiting for you, cuz.

sangriaferret,

Any reason this was more practical than building a bridge?

sangriaferret,

But it’s only 3m deep. How long are keels on tall sailboats?

sangriaferret,

Ah, interesting. Thanks.

sangriaferret,

What’s more, they created a standardized format for how people add content. Facebook has template, Instagram has a template and users just plug in what they want to contribute. It has made it easier for more people to post things, for better or worse, but it sucked so much creativity from the internet. The individuality of personal websites has been crushed by these entities forcing people to use their format.

sangriaferret,

People have been dressing in special costumes for celebrations since clothes were invented. Wearing special clothes for special occasions are part of what makes them special.

Also, wearing a suit and passing around a joint are not mutually exclusive:-)
