I’ll need to give Linux gaming another chance at some point.

All I know is that people were saying games run great on Linux a couple of years ago as well, but when I actually tried it for myself the performance was unusable.

Maybe that was my fault for over complicating my setup, but even when I tried a basic setup it still felt very janky.

Not sure if anyone’s able to advise, but does RTX and variable refresh rate work on Linux?

Those are absolute requirements for me.

The last bit that might hold me back is getting my Hue Sync stuff working. It sounds silly, but it really makes games feel so much more immersive that I don’t want to be without it.

You’re gonna get a whole team of people retrained with software they’re not used to, probably doesn’t have proper support or learning resources to fall back on, and may lack features or compatibility?

They might save some money, but a lot of businesses are more than happy to pay a lot to ensure they don’t have to worry about the above, and they can get on with their company’s actual purpose.

My mother will go through periods where she decides to fall out with everyone.

I’d say you’ve seen 90% hate because you weren’t there for the first week. I’m not saying all people who enjoy it are fanboys, it’s people who were telling other people they were just playing it wrong when it first came out.

Either way, if you enjoy the game then good for you, you don’t need my permission and are best just looking past other people’s criticisms if you like it.

Because the image assumes that a driver can only ever safely overtake if they’re completely in the other lane, which simply isn’t true.

It also assumes that there will be an opportunity where the other lane is completely free for them to move into it.

Overtaking eight people in a line is going to have a large time saving if they’re cycling in twos, but when you scale that down to just two then the difference is negligible and the space saving is more important.

You’re right. I live in a city and have never seen more than four people cycling together.

I’m glad we’ve reached the point where most people accept the game’s lacking in so many ways and overall a disappointment.

There was some hard cope when the game first released, with the fanboys telling everyone who criticised it that they were wrong or being unreasonable.

Any reviewer who gave this game 10/10 was smoking crack. Enjoyment of a game is subjective, but if you try to be remotely objective (their job) then there’s no way you can give it 10/10.
