That entire dlc was kind of a disgrace even if the end was fitting. If they could chop that off and factor in the rest of the story without a shitty ass retexture dlc that would be great, too.
Why? So I have to give it GPS access to play it but apparently the GPS usage is optional? Why can’t I opt-in or out when I want to use it? What if I plan to play this game exclusively from my couch? More companies out to make useless features to barely disguise selling your data.
Thats not why. Because it also says you can play without ever leaving your home. So obviously there is a way to traverse the map without the GPS. If it is optional, you should have the option to opt-in or out.

The only thing that has me frozen is Stellaris has so much, and Infinite has 4 factions to pick from. What is the bonus of buying this over just downloading the Star Trek mod for Stellaris? Other than that it looks great, I like the inclusion of popular Star Trek characters, it looks like a reskin of Stellaris which imo is not a bad thing. It looks interesting, but I would have preferred far more faction choices.
If you don’t consistently use open with options in the context menu and are an average user go for it. There won’t be much difference for you besides modern visuals. Otherwise, don’t.
