Ah, that may make it better. I like the PvP aspect, but I can only be shot from some unseen bush while I am also hidden in a bush before I just give up. Might have to look at Lethal Company
Reset your user agent string. It will tell you that your browser is unsupported. Switch your user string to chrome and everything will function as expected.
IT people probably run into more problems with non-chromium browsers.
Edit: it has to be visited on a desktop regardless. ABM does not like mobile browsers.
It is concerning. I make sure to reset my string when I’m done so that my computer reports it is using firefox. Something should be done. But I am so exhausted and overworked that I don’t have time for much else.
I’m on a windows machine. I have to use this for iPhones until Verizon approves my requests. But yeah that one in particular doesn’t make sense to me. Its not even a product its a management tool for schools and businesses.
At this current moment it feels as though we’d have to somehow snatch survival from the jaws of the changing climate. We’ve pissed away so much time that our rope dangles freely within its bite range. From my point of view, the torch will have to be passed to the squatters in the ruins.
Shareholders are the faceless masses. Ever since pensions were tongue-punched into oblivion and replaced with 401ks the average folk are the shareholders. Stake shareholders are who you are thinking of, and while they drive the shitty decisions, regular ol’ Beth & Martin down the way are also driving enshittification. They want line to go up, too. Because it means more money in their retirement. This entire system is a self defeating, vicious cycle unless you’re rich.
Its not news, anyone who denies climate change is either getting paid, or has been lulled by someone who is getting paid. The time for studies is over, the time for action was 30 years ago or more.
We probably do if there is no precedent. What does one standardized Khomeini unit represent? The number of extremists generated in a given amount of time compared to the non-extremist population? I don’t know if I have the knowledge to begin that conversation.
We’d probably have to offer how we interpret extremism. For the purpose of this excersize I would define extremism as an Individual’s willingness to commit to a doctrine without compromise. Since, most of the fighting we see across the globe today is due to some fully binding ideology that specific populations will not compromise on. With that definition set, we need to look at some average population numbers to make a value of 1 Khomeini meaningful at a glance.
Get off the fucken platform. Leave. Tell your followers where you are going and go. Every minute, every post, is a helping hand in oppressing LGBTQ communities and supporting a billionaire fed by apartheid and fascism. It fucken matters, people. Stop acting like it doesn’t.
The way we destroy everything in the long term for short term gains. If our goal is to not die out, we are doing it wrong. Its like we’re speed running extinction.
If you could only re-experience from new one game (like total immersion, wide-eyed wonder-at-the-majesty-of-it-all re-experience) and had yet to pick a console (Xbox versus PlayStation), what game on which console and why? (and feel free to remark on ideal controllers, add-ons, etc.)...
The game was that special, I mean it originally released for DreamCast and it had online play! Its a special kind of RPG that actually defined what Phantasy Star would become in the coming decades.
I didn’t get to sadly. It was actually before my time and I had a friend get me into it around 2010 in high school.
I don’t think it was cross platform, as each console version was a different version of the game. The GameCube version differed greatly in some aspects from the DreamCast version. There are online servers for the PC version (Blue Burst) still in existence today. That version had all the content of the previous iterations with an extra last boss fight and level.
Hate, the great unifier and equalizer. You needn’t study at the highest of academis. Nor practice with the secluded monk. Hate only requires the most miniscule of efforts to be included in the group. It is easy to hate.
2020 was… truly unique. It was so hard to stay away from doom scrolling, and I (and many others) were pretty disillusioned by the sad fact that so much of our country legitimately supported the Orange Man. I didn’t get a wink of sleep the night of the election because I genuinely considered it to be a make or break decision...
Prepare as many molotovs as possible and vote for Biden. My heart wants everyone to write Bernie in but that ship sailed. Instead, I will vote for the person thats not a faux mob boss and prepare for my country to turn into an autocracy because the faux mob boss is somehow pulling a shit ton of votes.
Edit: way too many comments here saying it doesn’t matter and they aren’t gonna vote. Just hand the direction of your life over to someone else then lmao
To add to other comments, Bethesda NPCs haven’t aged well. Especially when they’re right next to Baldur’s Gate 3 NPCs. Starfield left a lot to be desired. Can’t believe we’ve been lacking ES for this
The name of the game has changed. Its no longer about shoving stuff in a big world. Players of the genre want their choices to matter in an adaptive world. Bethesda didn’t get the memo they were so caught up in their empty dream sandbox.
Edit: I should also add expected AI behavior is evolving. After Rain World, I notice bland AI.
Its fucking jarring. Same story here. Stopped my BG3 cause my friend begged me. I said nah and he let me remote play it to try it out. I instantly recognized the same bullshit from all the way back to Oblivion out of the NPCs. They just feel dated now. Especially next to BG3 who probably put a ton of work into their NPCs.
20 years ago this was Bethesda’s style. They were the open-world rpg simulation. Now and Indie Dev can drop 6 character models and 6 objects into a game engine and have similar functionality in maybe a month. Two weeks if its hunkering down like a game jam. Technology has surpassed their products. They need to do something to spice it up or ES 6 is gonna bomb.
Do a Warhammer one, or a Lancer one, or literally any other TTRPG like this and I’m down. I dont even care if its partially a clone as long as the story is this deep. Shit Larian can just do another one up lets go.
Edit: could you imagine a fallout like this? Or a Vampire: Masquerade? Or maybe a Star Wars: EOTE?
Its hard to hit those thematic notes of the setting while also shoving your own story in there. If GW gave me a license I have a soulslike thats perfect for 40k’s entry.
If its framed in Judeo-Christian religion, “becoming like a man” probably means more “shedding your inferior parts” than it does becoming your true self. So therefor it is toxic.
