It's not a bad thing, gives you the option to read them on the Fediverse and it proves that the Fediverse could possibly be the future of Social Media. It's good to see other people want to see it grow.

If people don't like it then personally block it, the only reason for blocking a whole instance, instance wide is if it has morals that conflict to much such as a Anti-LGBT instance vs a LGBT one.

I think it's a possible change, It will bring a lot of newer people that rather haven't researched or want to move away from 'main stream' platforms to be able to come to the Fediverse and could be really possible for the amount of people being able to interact in general across both platforms.

It would also allow me to move away from Threads and stick to one account for most of the Fediverse based Social Media usage, and I really hope other Social Media's follow in METAs steps.

It could be a benefit to have people be further aware of the Fediverse being a better way than Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit and any other modern Social Media.

Kbin / Mbin actually fixed this by allowing if a Community isn't managed for 3 months by mods then it will be available for people to claim to admin. This allows people to keep the Community going and hopefully blow some life into it.

Yeah I find it sometimes helpful that multiple people can run communities in different instances but ATM it would be good if a few people created alternatives to set reddit like communities and we all go from there. Maybe it's a project someone could work on.

That's fair enough, I know that I want to see smaller communities to grow such as ones for certain games and creators. Making it into a place not only for Techy people is what the Fediverse needs to grow to wider audiences.

Yes Mbin fixed this, my instance runs a version of Mbin and I love it, sad we are missing a few things from Kbin but the quality is better in the end. I'll have to look at more Lemmy.world communities as that seems to be where most people end up

The Rock Band Clone you are talking about is actually made by the Rock Band Developers.

Love what Fortnite is doing with joining with all different sorts of games and making it work on Fortnite allowing you to have your Locker have all the items between games.

So it was said in the show about her choosing her own name (a lot like any Trans person does) and it's assumed due to her having the knowledge of the doctor in the back of her mind as well as Donna's she chose it due to Rose being one of the Doctors most loved Companions. Hope you enjoyed the episodes like I did.

Sadly it doesn't look likely unless they started a show for 'unit' the company in the other episodes of the specials. Where they could have Donna, Rose and the Doctor fight threats to earth from a modern day stance, sort of like Sarah Jane Adventures.

I'm guessing this is because of more sales of the Steam Deck, haven't got myself one yet but I'd love to as everyone that has gotten ones has said it's worth the money as well as is a great way to get through your games on the go.

I've been listening to Podcasts lately and went straight to Google Podcasts, Love the Platform sad to see it go. Will be looking for another platform that can allow me to listen both on PC as well as Phone, This is sadly not it as doesn't seem to have a Desktop app / site

From what I've seen of the Steam Deck there's not far that it can go to improve as of the moment but in the next 10 years there's going to be needing another one as newer games like GTA 6 and stuff come around and eventually be on PC the tech is going to really show it's age.

It depends on the film, film (the tape) is expensive to be able to record on and some Directors prefer recording on it. But most smaller filmmakers go digital due to budget as well as the ability to edit it easier.

I know it's more complex, just if you are trying to explain what the Fediverse is to someone who's older or someone who just thinks it's another social media instead of a whole new way of looking at the internet it's hard to explain to that person who isn't really looking actively for an 'alternative' for 'x' platform.
