Hi, I have an Indesit 15b1 and it won’t run a cycle. When I turn it on, I get a error code, 3 green solid, amber start light and red flashing salt light. Nothing about it in the manual, Indesit said the same thing....
Play ARAM and with time you’ll learn the characters. The matches are shorter and you can’t choose the champs, so you’re forced to learn. In ARAM you can only play with champs that you bought and have, or that are in rotation (set of characters that are free to play, changes every week). Because of rotation, you’re more than likely to see the same champs over and over so it makes learning easier. With time you’ll get the hang of it. Have item builds open on second monitor so you can focus on what abilities do instead of figuring out what items to buy.
So yeah, I want to discuss or point out why I think Valve needs to fix Anti-Cheat issues. They have VAC but apparently its doing jackshit, be it Counter Strike 2 (any previous iterations) or something like Hunt: Showdown the prevalence of cheating players is non deniable. For me personally it has come to a point that I am not...
In case of CS2, it doesn’t even ban people who teleport behind you at the first second of the round. Or killing everyone through the whole map like here (Reddit): link
Bro. Get out of the house. You want to tell me you’re the only one that likes retro games and watching anime? Stop looking at social media about ppl liking cars, sports or whatever. Look for people who like retro games and anime. Discord, lemmy, mastodon, idk. There is A LOT of people like that. Most likely there is a gaming/anime club in your town, reach out. You’ll be a loser IF you give up.
Why look for people who don’t enjoy things you enjoy. You’re worried about not having hobbies that are „relatable”. Do you actually want to spend time with people who are into cars and sports and whatever? Probably not. So stop looking for them

League of Legends being broken every patch (like right now). Or Linux not being the focus of the game devs most of the time. Screen sharing not working on discord. Adobe like apps not working on wine (no I won’t use GIMP. It’s easier for me to boot to windows than to learn the GIMP way)
I’m between distros and looking for a new daily driver for my laptop. What are people daily driving these days? Are there any new cool things to try?...
what does this consist of? Well, it’s easy, whenever you install a new distribution of Linux, don’t customise anything, nothing please!! Out of the box experience, you may install software but that’s all. And if you are already using a customised distro, then delete the .config file and reboot, but please be careful and...
I like challenges like just like any other person, but aren’t they supposed to be… fun, at least? Of If I wanted to do what you’re describing I’d just go back to Windows or Mac
I’ve been daily driving Linux for 17 months now (currently on Linux Mint). I have got very comfortable with basic commands and many just works distros (such as Linux Mint, or Pop!_OS) with apt as the package manager. I’ve tried Debian as a distro to try to challenge myself, but have always ran into issues. On my PC, I could...
Manual arch install was one of the best experiences I had on Linux so far. You learn so much (even more when you try to compare file systems for example to find the best one for you) from the wiki. I don’t know if I’ll be switching from it haha. I’m in the same boat as you, wanting to learn it more and more, hell I’m reading How Linux Works book haha. CLI file management is nice, but I still go back to GUI a lot cos it’s easier to drag and drop to another window instead of figuring out the path to copy to. Not gonna use it just for the sake of it lol Unless someone has tips. I’m all ears :)
I’ve been using linux for about 6 months now and recently been using arch as my main. I’ve done some customzations like changing fonts, background, keybinds, etc. But I really want to actually customize like the behaviour of apps, cool animations....
I think with everything that’s going on, self hosting will become kind of like a smartphone, everyone has a server. Then the creators host files, and you transcode them on your hardware
This is an idea I’ve been toying with for a bit. There is a ton of media that includes unimportant information that doesn’t need to be stored pixel perfect. Storing large portions of the image data as text will save substantial amounts of storage, and as the reality of on-device image generation becoming commonplace sets in...

Imo video sizes will eventually plateau, there is only so much resolution people actually need. There is so little difference from a distance. From 5m I can’t really tell much difference between 4K and 1080p content on a 50 inch tv. Not to mention resolutions above that
Steam takes forever to start (5-10s) on AMD ryzen 9 7950x, it’s not automatically started on boot. Closing also takes a few seconds. Could that be due to sloppy programming? I am a programmer myself.
I don’t play or promote videogames, I honestly just want to focus on developing open source software!! And I know that Tux and other mascots have their own open source games, but do you think the developers of mainline Linux play videogames??
I have the opposite opinion lol I hate how Brodie posts every damn day and spamming my subscriptions, plus I could probably read an article for 2 mins instead of watching his 10-15min video. I prefer Linux Cast much more
So I was watching a few youtubes and remembered how the vast majority (of like the ten) nes games me and my sister had were hard as all hell. I loved to play Little Nemo and Street Fighter 2010 but I am pretty sure I never made it past the third level of either. Let alone infamously hard games like The Lion King....
I would honestly be inclined to pay for a non bs news service, no clickbait titles, no SEO bs in the article which makes it 30 times as long for no reason. Just facts
That’s so simple that I can’t believe I haven’t thought of it before. I was worried about not drinking, not partying, etc etc. But do I want friends that are into those things? Not really lol Thanks for enlightening me haha
Hi guys! For the past… ever, I’ve been putting my health and fitness aside. I tried a few times to get into the habit of exercising to no avail. Skiff.com I wanted to degoogle and Proton seems too bloated for me right now, too flashy and all. Same reason I cannot get used to thunderbird, I just need an email client not a whole suite. (Recommendations welcome haha)
