There are still some accessories that still use the Lightning port. Most notably the AirPods, AirPods Max, Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad. I don’t know if these will get a USB-C update or not.

I usually stick to the browser that comes bundled with the OS. On my computer, I use Microsoft Edge, and on my phone I use Chrome. I’m just very lazy to download a different browser, I’m not biased at all. If I start using Linux, I’ll be using Firefox (idk if different Linux distros bundle different browsers). If I ever switch to iOS or macOS, I’d use Safari.

I think I’m automatically being hated now for using a browser made by a company that sells my data to advertisers.

Having three writing systems makes it easier to seperate words when there’s no spaces to be found. S p a c e s l i k e t h e s e .

And incase you’re wondering, using only Hiragana with spaces is still pretty unreadable.

What are some alternatives to bars that stay open late for folks that don't drink alcohol?

Bars are notable for staying open late, but I’m not really familiar with alternatives that might operate similarly. I think many cafés (at least around my area) tend to close a few hours earlier by comparison, which would be my go-to for an alternative otherwise, so what other options are there?

I also noticed how my social media usage (even on Lemmy and Mastodon) is consistently declining, I haven’t opened the clients I use for either platform in days (or possibly more than a week). It’s bad because I was pretty invested in the fediverse, but it’s good because now I can actually do something productive, or even go outside.

Because 2013 happened. And 2013 was bullshit. I’m sure Adobe Creative Cloud, iOS 7 and the Xbox One would gladly explain that to you. Oh, and I forgot Vine. I mean, it was really good, but it basically led to Musical.ly, which led to TikTok. YouTube also got rid of the customisable channel page, instead giving us a simple banner instead (I said instead 3 times now). And did I mention fingerprint scanners on phones? I’m sure you all remember Facebook Home. You don’t? Well, you’re better off not remembering it. Also, they killed Brian Griffin only to ressurect him from the dead all of a sudden. And finally, Office 2013. There’s nothing wrong with it, it just looked like garbage.

All of this led to the dystopian lifestyle we’re currently living in.
