That scene in Ghost messed me up.

I had a cat that would fetch rings from milk jugs.

100 Grand. There seems to only be one.

I wonder how many pieces it broke into. When it hits, it sounds like it shattered.

This is one song that can trigger a bunch of memories with just a few notes.

Probably my first real online game.

Definitely. I have a neighbor with one. It has caused me several double-takes.

The SG-1000 is brought to my attention just infrequently enough, that it feels like new knowledge every damn time.

After all these years, I still haven’t even played anything from it. It’s like my brain wants to ignore its existence.

I was waiting for someone to recognize that it was Costco

Looking over my collection, these are the ones I thought “I’d like to play that right now.”

Soul Calibur, Chuchu Rocket, Mars Matrix, Virtua Tennis, Super Magnetic Neo, Sword Of The Berserk: Guts’ Rage

Oh! Can’t forget Power Stone 2!

Brutal. Not sure how that compares to me being mad at my bro for deleting my Legend of Zelda save.

Hey, if Dreamcast calls, you better answer

All (4) of the level/stage themes are awesome.

It doesn’t work on Infinity either.

Reminds me of Bad Street Brawler. One of the handful of DOS games I played a bunch as a kid.

No wonder, just learned that both were developed by Beam Software.

This was my first thought lol

I hope they have their permit

Same. After a bit of reading, I’m now certain I will see this structure in everything.

I first heard this song on good ol’ 97X back in the early 2000s. I probably haven’t heard it since then, either.

rockhstrongo,

This is the one positive thing I could think of.

Me reading the headline: “🙄 Who isn’t making a mechanical keyboard these days…”

Me after looking at the pictures: “I…might want that…”

Reminds me of old Pioneer Kuro plasma TVs. With some models, you could solder one tiny capacitor to the mainboard, and it would unlock “Elite” model features.

I used to work for someone whose wife was a realtor. She would sometimes email and ask me to doctor photos of messy rooms and make them look more presentable.

I never saw any this bad before, though.

Just bought a PSP 2000. It is my first PSP, what should I know? (lemm.ee)

I was very lucky to find an almost good-as-new PSP 2000 locally. I am very excited about it! It will need a new battery though and it only came with an USB charger. Would appreciate any tips pertaining chargers and batteries. But if you have any gaming related suggestions or general tips I’m open for that too :)

I was listing a PSP game on eBay the other day.

“Surely this didn’t come out in '06… Oh…” 💀

Why filter blue light instead of not emitting it in the first place in a situation involving a computer display and a human observer with no other sources of blue light?

What is the natural science reason to wear blue light eyeglasses instead of just turning one’s computer display’s blue lights off or very low in spaces where there are no other sources of blue light than the screen the person is watching? Suppose that the person has perfect visual acuity without eyeglasses. Suppose also that...

It is my understanding that most LEDs are inherently blue, but they add phosphors that mask the appearance of that blue light, making it appear white to our eyes.

If you look at the spectrum for an LED bulb there is almost always a big spike in the blue part of the wavelength.

So, if you were to “turn off” the blue light, you would be turning off the source of the light itself. Because of that, filtering is often used to lessen that blue bump in the spectrum.

It looks like it could be a cold start valve.

From Google: “An air compressor cold start valve bleeds air from the compressor head during the first few pump revolutions, reducing torque requirements for starting a motor. This helps the compressor start easier.”
