I’ve been thinking about something and want to check an assumption I have. I only hear directly from other people in the USA, and interract with the global community through memes. How are the gun regulations/laws different from yours in terms of strictness, and do you wish there was more or less where you live?...

Czech Republic here. I know there’s a license involved but other than that I have no clue how it works. Why should I know anything about gun regulations? It’s such a niche and unimportant thing…

I like Morrowind as much as anyone but also appreciate the streamlined approach of Skyrim. I mean, I don’t really need to equip each pauldron separately…

But Oblivion always felt wrong to me. Too dumbed down coming from Morrowind, but not simplified enough to be as fun as Skyrim.

Plus enemies scaled in a way that if you weren’t minmaxing your levelups, the whole world turned into bulletsponges.

I started out playing Doom on a 386, in a tiny tiny viewport, and until recently my hardware was apways behind the curve. I remember playing Oblivion at 640 x 380. And enjoying foggy weather in San Andreas because the reduced draw distance made my fps a lot better.

Over the years I’ve trained my brain to do amazing real time upsacaling, anti-aliasing, hell, even frame generation. nVidia has nothing on the neural network in my head.

But not everyone has this experience and smooth FPS is always better, even if I can handle teerible performance if the game is any good.
