Oh. I almost couldn’t make up my mind on that one. From a purely scientific standpoint, I wanted it to succeed and find the evidence of water they were hoping for, because that would be helpful to the worldwide scientific community.

Well, I read a story yesterday which said they couldn’t make the lander as sophisticated as they wanted to because they no longer had access to lighter materials, equipment, and electronics. Foreign stuff was simply better than Russian-made alternatives. I don’t know why the lander crashed, but I’m guessing that it might not have if they could use foreign components.

Conservatives have taught people that it’s not just okay, but patriotic to be a loud, obnoxious, hateful bigot. Meanwhile, way too many liberals tolerate their behavior instead of calling it out. As I see it, both sides contribute to the problem. Obviously, the aggressors are worse, but standing by silently just encourages them.
Although it would be nice to change their mind, that isn’t the only reason. They need to know that their behavior isn’t acceptable. Even if they still feel the same way, maybe next time they’ll keep their hatred to themselves and seethe quietly instead of harassing people. That’s not ideal, but it’s better than implicitly giving them approval.

Games don’t need better, more complex graphics. They need adequate time and resources during the development process. They need to actually be completed by their release date, not just barely playable. They need to be held to a higher standard of quality when publishers judge if they’re ready to sell.

How old is this video? Finland joined NATO on April 4. Delusional though he is, I don’t think Putin is stupid or arrogant enough to declare war against NATO - at least, not considering the current state of Russia’s military.

I would guess that you need to have a serious, honest discussion about what the real problem is. Unless that gets solved, the superficial complaining (and the resentment it causes) will eventually seem like the real problem, but solving that won’t fix the underlying issue.
Address it now, before the concrete hardens. Otherwise, it’ll only get worse.
