it’s not for everyone and certainly shouldn’t be seen as the default or indoctrinated into people from a young age like it is right now. that being said, i’m very happily monogamous and couldn’t imagine it any other way.
If you’re into mobile games I’d recommend any of the papa’s games. I have cluckeria to go and it’s helped kill time when i don’t have WiFi or a long time to get into something more involved.

in fairness the directions on the back of the tube still state you should use a pea sized amount. i feel like that’s not all that helpful though, peas come in lots of different sizes.
personally i’m more comfortable with the UI and features of discord, plus i’m not too familiar with what the issues with privacy it has. could be that the mods here feel the same way, or that there would be a larger userbase on discord

certainly social media can be addictive, for myself i’ve almost always been able to take on tasks as they come up and not procrastinate but that’s just due to a hate of the feeling of having a task looming. that being said i know there’s times i’ve mindlessly watched tiktok for hours instead of engaging in more productive, meaningful forms of entertainment.

The forums are preset and are very generic. The conversations are definitely better than Reddit, but no better or worse than the ones I've had with people on Fedi....

trains are the best mode of transportation to me. i don’t know how to drive and have no desire to learn. it’s stressful, expensive, and time-consuming to learn. trains in my area are regular enough and even if you can’t get a seat then you’ll get to your destination quick enough that it’s not an issue. you don’t have to worry about traffic or really doing anything once you’re onboard. i understand that some people need to drive but honestly don’t know why anyone would enjoy it.
