I remember hearing this on some rock stations when it came out. They weren’t hung up about the specific genre and neither was I. It can be difficult to say what is and isn’t rock music because it is so broad.

Anyway, if that’s not good enough for you then new wave is also on Wikipedia’s list of rock genres:

So it’s ROCK, and it’s damn near 30 years old. In the 90s people were already calling rock from the 70s “classic rock” and that music was barely 20 years old at the time.

Lol I was there listening to rock radio in the 70s. Times change, rock music ages, and it becomes classic rock. You’re living in the past, as Jethro Tull might say. Maybe I’ll post that next.

No, the chart shows Russian rubles to the US dollar. Notice how it says above the box in the lower left: Compare to. The number is cut off but you can still tell that EUR / RUB conversion is around 104 and some change. That’s what it’s close to right now:

It also show that the dollar is going up in value vs the ruble. If you own dollars then it’s a good thing, so it all depends on your perspective.
