How long ago did this game launch? Official release in September and 3 months later they’re offering DLC? What are they smoking?
I still hear reports of teething problems with the game and they really are asking people who stuck with them from the start to pay up more? I guess the developers are role playing holding their players hostage in keeping with the style of Payday gameplay.
The best moments are when you don’t see your pal, but you know exactly what happened to them from the sounds.
Last night we had a base commander who got us killed because they were too slow at disabling two turrets near the entrance, then they thought they were hot shit and could rescue some of the stuff. Instead they got shot by the same turrets and we lost all our scrap on the final day. That was a laughfest.
Oh gosh, the fading “nooo!” When someone falls is too funny!
One of our best stories was from the delivery planet where we were exploring the area. We went down the ladder to check out the ocean and that walkway down there. We’re all talking and one of our friends goes, “hey guys wanna see something cool?”
We kinda ignore him for a minute and finish our conversation, then we go over to him to hear what he found.
We found his dead body. He fell from the stairs right after he said that and died! We were all stunned, it had been a couple minutes so we just kind of laughed. Decided his sister should give him a sailors funeral and drop his body off into the sea.
So she picks him up and tosses him over. Well, the railing got in the way and stopped him from falling, so she went over the raining and jumped on the pipe. Giving her eulogy, she took a step forward and disappears, dying to the ocean! Gosh we were cackling for hours about that one, sheer gold!
How the fuck did they beat Google on a platform that allows sideloading, but lose to Apple when their platform doesn’t? Some judges need to be fucking removed.
In this case, Google did look more shady than Apple because there were reports of Google pushing developer to not publish on other Android’s store (which is an illegal anti-competive practice Google operate on some of its platform like Youtube etc.). Apple didn’t need to employ such practices because alternative stores on iOS are nearly impossible.
Uh… What? No. One judge said moving towards this type of control is monopolistic, while another said that already having that control isn’t. They’re applying the same laws, but applied them completely differently. That’s on the judge. And most anti-trust laws are federal, so they would be applying the same laws
Get in line, clowns. 2077 might’ve had a hobbled launch, but y’all squirted at the starting gun and they’ve come around gloriously while you pointed at anyone but the culprit for your full diaper.
Hell, we all knew you were wearing one and we still gave you the benefit of the doubt. Shame on us, for sure, but you’re still walking around like you’ve changed your damn drawers… Nasty.
If you have a browser that still supports javascript bookmarklets and are brave enough to trust code from a random stranger online I have a bookmarkelet that I got from a random stranger online years ago that cleans all of that junk from links on the entire page making them safe to click.
