Just found out about this, seems to recognize my obscure music, at least so far…

It featured geotagging and made it pretty easy to get really nicely organized albums for trips....

I’m one of those weirdos that likes to live on the bleeding edge and get anxiety when apps aren’t updated to target the latest API. You know how the media tries to tell you about EV drivers getting battery anxiety, I have that but for apps being abandoned....

There’s a cool little app that goes through your locally hosted music, grabs the artists and then watches MusicBrainz for releases for them artists. Upon seeing a new release, it will send a notification announcing it....

Edit: Updated the page with some cleanup and better navigation. It can now be filtered by OS and GUI/CLI....

This is a feature of manictime that I find incredibly useful, I'd love to know if anyone is familiar with a FOSS tool that has similar functionality.

The official one is always down and is inaccessible on the web.

I have all my mp3s on my NAS. Over the years, I’ve been rating the tracks, standardizing the id3 tags, etc. I love my music collection. But the era of the single device experience is over and as such I need a little more. Up until now, I’ve been copying tracks over to my phone every time I need new portable music....
