Is there a website that shows a list of dead instances and how long they were alive and why they died? I think that would be a cool website. It could be for Lemmy, Kbin, Mastodon, and everywhere else in the Fediverse!

Lately Tusky is taking quite some time to load images for me, can it be the app or maybe the instance that I’m in?

Many NSFW have nothing to do with porn. Sometimes are horror contents, some times are crude images, some times are just lazy people who don’t know of the Spoiler tag. Can we have a quick and easy way to filter off all the (very funny but not alway wanted) Porn posts without locking out those other contents???

What I mean is someone sets up a new community, blasts it with a bunch of content to get things started, or sets up a new community bot that makes 20 posts and every other post in my feed is that community. Usually with 1 or 2 votes each and no comments. No matter what way I sort I see this....

I think this has negative effects on the threadiverse because it tends to keep user’s focus at lemmy.world and in general keeps users to stay in their bubbles

Groups as both a formal ActivityPub spec and general concept deeply invigorate me. I previously wrote about group-to-group following (FEP-d36d) as the missing glue layer to successfully transition /r/rust to the threadiverse....

Hi. I got a new instance of Lemmy up on my server, but outgoing emails aren’t working with Gmail. I have a paid account with Gmail, and previously have used outgoing mail with other services(like phpbb and Mastodon), and they worked. If you can provide some help, that would be much appreciated.
