Finally finished my first RC car (lemmy.world)
I finally finished model 7 (Buggy) from 3dsets. It was fun to build, but mistake to take it in forest (one screw loose near one rear wheel).

I’ve been tuning to print at a 0.1mm layer height, the ironing turned out like this. The left side of the Z is a little textured and more shiny....
Hi everyone, just to put some content in this community, I thought that sharing my setup could be useful to some people!...
Looks like the prop makers of the movie used a lead screw coupling and bashed it together with some tubes and other parts. When I saw it I went like the Leonardo DiCaprio meme pointing at the TV.
Printed this cylinder as part of a larger project and there’s a horizontal line that runs up most of the part. Not bad enough to scrap the project but I’m curious if anyone can explain what causes this. Using an Ender 3 printing PLA, Cura slicer.

Pretty happy with how it turned out- 0.2 layer height in PETG, took about 9 hours
Just printed this plant pot and the quality is absolutely trash. It’s a large print (150mmx150mmx150mm) but printed using my normal settings. It’s solid wall - 4-5 perimeters thick. Sliced in Prusaslicer 2.6.1 and printed on an Ankermake M5. Any ideas?...
Trying to design and print a clip for my crisper drawer, learning something new with every print....
I spent a couple hours learning FreeCAD and designed this pen holder for my spouse. They were super happy with it. If people want I can provide the CAD and STL files....
Prusa dun good with this surprise update....
I’ve heard (and seem) many a horror story about PETG and was ready for hours of troubleshooting. Generic PETG settings in Prusaslicer and honestly this print couldn’t be much better! There’s a few layer inconsistencies, but those should be pretty trivial to fix after I get a temp tower done....
Found this great model on printables: www.printables.com/…/441984-skateboard-holder...
I just got into 3D Printing (got my Ender 3 two weeks ago) and I’ve been loving the experience! Learning lots of new things as well as making a few mistakes and learning from those....
Any suggestions on what nucleotide chain to print out?
I thought maybe someone is planning in upgrade their Voxelab Aquila (or Ender 3) the same way as I did, so here is what I did:...

Twisting it on hot and the nozzle fell to the bed. I thought “huh, guess I was turning it the wrong way…” Nope.
So am looking for some suggestions to try. I am printing on an Ender 3 with a MS direct drive setup....
Also included on the Printables and Thingiverse Links is the FreeCAD file which I used to make these. Simply add a font file, and change the text....
As title says. I got myself a filament runout sensor, wired it, designed and printed a holder for it and now I am experiencing some issues. I hope someone here can help me....
So far I am happy with it, though I wouldn’t make another kit at least not without a drill.
