See attached photo for the results of the bed levelling test using superslicer’s calibration test....
I’ve printed about 40 rolls of iiidmax PLA+ and have encountered bulges like these before. I thought it was just bad luck but I think I’m done now. Going to try to finish the 10 rolls I still have left and find a new brand.
Basically title, the top mount broke so I screwed the mount to a bench. Only seems to be happening with this filament though as I've been running this setup for at least 6 months.
I spent entirely way too much time trying to get one of these style extruders on my Ender 3. Maybe I picked a knock off without realizing it, maybe mine was just defective, I’m not entirely sure....
This is the base of a pumpkin. There is a little support where the over hang is a bit much to start. How did I get great smoosh on the support but not the first layer of the actual print?! They’re the same layer!
Ive been trying to get my 3D printer to print properly since upgrading my Ender 3 Pro with an all metal direct drive hot end. I calibrated my esteps perfectly and they’re spot on, beds leveled although there is a bit of a dip in the middle, and my slicer has the right settings for this PLA that is new and just opened from the...

Bring my buddy at work
Printed with two PETG filaments on a glass bed with hairspray. Printed the black lines (with a custom end code that doesn’t turns off motors) then printed the white over it in a separate gcode (also with custom start with no homing). It even allows me to go with an exact and cut off hairs and blobs before laying the white....
How is this possible even with abl? I dont’ get it…
Not sure if mini gaming and resin prints are welcome here, but I’m trying my hand at printing an extra-galactic space bug army and this is my first finished print. Printed on my anycubic photon ultra D2 in anycubic’s craftsman DLP grey resin.
Flashforge creator pro 2 with PLA, standard quality preset, textured removable magnetic bed on the build plate....
Look at the following image and take a second to think about how you would create a 2D sketch of this shape in CAD with the goal of recreating the profile in a 3d printed part like my end cap....

I finally finished model 7 (Buggy) from 3dsets. It was fun to build, but mistake to take it in forest (one screw loose near one rear wheel).
I’ve been tuning to print at a 0.1mm layer height, the ironing turned out like this. The left side of the Z is a little textured and more shiny....
Hi everyone, just to put some content in this community, I thought that sharing my setup could be useful to some people!...
Looks like the prop makers of the movie used a lead screw coupling and bashed it together with some tubes and other parts. When I saw it I went like the Leonardo DiCaprio meme pointing at the TV.
Printed this cylinder as part of a larger project and there’s a horizontal line that runs up most of the part. Not bad enough to scrap the project but I’m curious if anyone can explain what causes this. Using an Ender 3 printing PLA, Cura slicer.

Pretty happy with how it turned out- 0.2 layer height in PETG, took about 9 hours
