This was a fun project, I had to measure and figure out the iottie thread pitch and then create an adapter to go from a phone mount stand to a backplate on my wireless camera screen for a backup camera on a trailer....
Is this beyond the pale? Recently got a Neptune 3 pro and have been having issues. Anyone have some tips? Is this resolvable? Can a bed for these be replaced?...
Sounds pretty good! It’s printed out of PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoates). This is a food safe naturally occurring material synthesized by bacteria, and it is fully biodegradable in a reasonable time span, in any biome, with no microplastics. Design from SolidZone, material from Filaments.ca Regen collection. Once the world figures...
The print didn’t finish because of a corrupt file apparently (that’s what the printer told me). I’m wondering what causes that big gap between the layers.
I wanted to place this filament dryer I got myself recently directly above my printer. So I designed and printed this shelf. It prints in parts to get as strong as possible and can be assembled using M3 screws. If you are interested, files are available here for free:...
0.6 nozzle and still got decent detail. Ive been having a ton of fun and productivity with the big nozzle but can’t wait to go back to 0.4 which I haven’t used in a long time, or to try out the 0.2
Pretty impressed how well that one turned out. Used SUNLU TPU in yellow with 200/50 degrees Celsius at 20mm/s speed on my Voxelab Aquila (upgraded PEI bed and DirectDrive, also used Filament drybox)....
Printed with two PETG filaments on a glass bed with hairspray. Printed the black lines (with a custom end code that doesn’t turns off motors) then printed the white over it in a separate gcode (also with custom start with no homing). It even allows me to go with an exact and cut off hairs and blobs before laying the white....
I recently got my first 3D printer to my place just a couple weeks ago! I thought it would be really nice to keep a small sample of each of my filaments printed out so that I have a readily-available example of what each actually looks like....
I’ve been getting some problem layers with this filament, especially on flat pieces like this. The first layer is always good, but flat layers (top and bottom) that are not on the bed are not great, like the filament is sagging and not connecting to the lines next to it, regardless of if they are supported or not. This one was...
I’ve just finished tweaking this Leman Russ proxy, inspired by the very original model released for Epic back in the 80s. It’s designed to be easy to print in FDM (no supports required for printing), the one pictured was printed on a stock Ender 3....
I’ve always contemplated designing my own printer but I didn’t know how to until I learned CAD, was quite the journey and I learned a lot (still a lot to learn) but I had a lot of fun designing it!
As title says. Today I upgraded my Voxelab Aquila to a Direct Drive and as you easily can see I am in desperate need for a new fan shroud to make everything fit perfectly. Unfortunately I lost my fusion 360 file for the one I currently use. It uses two 4010 Noctua fans and as there was no fitting fan shroud out there I made one....
