WhatsApp has an e2ee backup option and according to Signal WhatsApp doesn’t have a backdoor. Telegram does not encrypt group chats, which is terrible for privacy and security. While not at the side of the road, where I’m from bus drivers have the right to throw anyone out at a bus station because there aren’t school buses per se.
