Oh nice! I wonder if this will fix discord streaming audio?

I have discord installed from the flatpak. Screen sharing works but it doesn’t share audio from the applications. Discord-screenaudio and web browser discord have been suggested to me but they don’t work with unfocused push to talk. I’ve also tried xwaylandvideobridge but that didn’t stream the audio either.

The zflip5 looks really nice with the big cover screen. I’ve had the 3 since launch and it still works well. Best thing about it is the small pocket size and being able to put keys and other stuff in my pocket without scratching the screen up.

I had a dream about windows and have decided to setup Linux on my laptop. What distro should I use?

I used Ubuntu once a few years ago but had compatability issues so I went back to windows. Not a great programmer but I’d like to learn. I’m not looking to do much gaming beyond DOOM2 and factorio. I swapped from windows to Opensuse Tumbleweed recently. Seems like a really nice distro. Frequent updates and easy rollbacks if something breaks. Luckily I haven’t had to use that feature yet but it’s nice knowing I have it. Yast is also great for changing system settings with a gui instead of using konsole for all that.

Counter Strike 2 and WoW have been running great.

Really not worth it imo. When my front left speed sensor went out it would have cost ~$160 for the OEM replacement part. The $6 sensor I bought on Amazon works fine.

Zenni has really good prices. I bought some prescription sunglasses from them for about $50. The site suggested I spend an extra $70 on high-index lenses but I ignored it. Glasses work great.

Walmart sells cheap janky tablets under the Onn brand. I think you can get one for like $50. May be better off getting a nicer used tablet for around the same price off Marketplace or craigslist. The walmart ones are real shitty lol

I’ve had my Galaxy zflip 3 for about 2 years now. Lots of comments here are saying they are too fragile or poorly made but that has not been my experience:

  • the battery is fine
  • the screen hasn’t scratched
  • it flips open fine with a one handed flick of the wrist
  • I’ve dropped it several times without damage
  • it has been used in the rain and snow
  • I’ve replaced the screen protector once myself due to it peeling at the fold. Having to change screen protectors happens on every phone I’ve owned due to peeling somewhere
  • I can drop it in my pocket folded without worrying about keys, coins, or whatever else scratching up the screen
  • being able to use the phone as it’s own tripod is nice for photos
  • flipping it shut to end phonecalls is satisfying
  • price is about the same as any other new Samsung phone (I got mine close to free trading in a Galaxy s10e)

The new flip 5 looks really nice with the bigger cover screen but I don’t plan to upgrade anytime soon since this phone is working well for me.

Finished my first playthrough of valheim this week as a duo team. Yagulath and the Queen boss were pretty crazy. I’m hoping the Ashlands comes out soon, not really sure what to do with the game until then.

Yeah it does feel a bit grindy at times for all the iron and coal, but taking it slow can be fun if you don’t have much time for it. I really liked building and trying out all the different weapons.

Hellyeah nice! I’ve been thinking about building one too. I had been using an xbox controller for fighters but borrowed my friends hitbox for a bit and don’t wanna go back. Can’t really justify spending like $250 on one though. I think I can build on for about $50 if I use an old cigar box for the case.

How do you like those buttons? I’ve been told to get Sanwa buttons but I really don’t know much about them.

I started cleaning it when covid hit. After I sanitize my hands in the car I’ll wipe my hands off around the wheel and my key since I usually forget until after I’ve gotten in and started the car up. I do it less often now, but every time I pump gas for sure.

I’ve had my sennheiser hd 598 headphones over 5 years now and they still sound great! I’m using a Fiio e10k with them. Very durable too, I’ve dropped them off my desk onto hardwood floor countless times. They look a little battle-scarred but sound good as new.

To my knowledge there’s no stagnant water on my property, I’ve run water through all my ptraps, and I’m careful to not leave doors open. Yet at any given time there’s at least 3 in my house. I can’t sleep, i can’t sit on the couch, i can’t exist in the fear of being sucked dry....

I like to dry rub and smoke them for about 3-4 hours, wrap for 1, then unwrap with some sauce on top until they’re done. During the first part I mist them with apple cider vinegar for extra flavor and moisture.
